Door - Ten

I'm sitting in the hall with James waiting for my neck to feel better. I am minding my own business when I turn to look at James and he is moving his mouth like he is saying something but I can't make out what. I have never been much of a lip reader. I look away and suddenly I feel something looking at me. I look in the corner of my eye and James is staring at me. Suddenly, from what I can tell, his eyes have that red glow. "Ok that's it! What is with him he is so weird and creepy?" I say in my head. "Ok let's go to the next door" I say as I stand up and brush myself off. "Ok" he says back and stands up.

We walk to the next door and open it. The room looks like a movie set. A slim man with a moustache and a scarf around his neck maybe in his 50's walks up to us while looking at us and holding his chin with his fingers like he is thinking. Once he gets up to us I am give him a confused look. "You would be perfect for the part!" He says in a bright tone looking at me. "Ummm" is all I could say. He lifts my arms so they are straight like a helicopter then puts then down. "Yes, yes, yes very good come on now" he says, he sounds slightly Italian. He grabs my hand and we walk off.

I am admiring the movie set as we go by, it looks like the set is set in Greece. I start to think about the table with the weapons, where is it? I haven't seen it since I met James in that room. I start to think that James isn't really normal, I mean people don't go in that house regularly and I have never ever see in town and the town is really small so I know pretty much everyone from school. We get to a dressing room and the man hands me a white Greek dress so I put it on in the changing room. Once it's on I look at myself in the mirror and it fits perfectly. I walk out and the little man hands me a crown that looks like leaves painted gold that fit around my head, I take it and put it on.

He walks me out and places me in my place on set. Suddenly he splashes fake blood on my dress and tells me to lie down. "Sorry our other actress left and this is the scene we are on, you don't have to say anything just scream when I give you the signal" he assures me. I just nod. "Bring in the 'beast' please!" He tells two people on the side. They go to a door on the left of the set room, they are in the for a minute until they run out screaming. A massive monster comes out. "This is meant to happen right?" I ask the director who is the little man with a moustache and a scarf. "Umm, well no it's just meant to be a monster suit that have Ben and Casper controlling it but they can't get it through the door without carrying it so they get in it on the set" he says trembling. "So that thing is alive?" I ask him. "Yeah" he says and runs off to hide leaving me to fight for myself.

I try and see if I can see James anywhere but I think he left me. People are trying to stop it or kill it with things on set, its obviously not working. I sneak behind the set and see James hiding there. "We could really use that table of weapons right now aye?" I tell him. "What table of weapons?" he looks at me very confused. "You know at the start of each door but they stopped appearing when met you" I tell him. "Oh... uhh... right yeah" he says still obviously not knowing what the heck I am talking about.

I peer around the corner and see the monster tearing people to shreds and there is blood and body parts everywhere. The monster looked like a human but really oversized and mutant, it had crocodile teeth, it wore white shorts that are turning red and as a weapon it had a sword that now has blood dripping off it.

I still completely have no idea where the key is. "James have you seen the key?" I ask breaking the silence. "I saw it by the door" he replies. "Wait, so we could have just turned around and walked out?" I ask him getting annoyed. "Um yeah" he says and I sigh. I look around the corner again and it standing by the door not killing anyone because it has killed very thing that was out there. There are probably still people hiding. There were a lot of people on the set but I don't know how many are left.

We were being silent for a while until the Italian man comes up to us. "Have you seen Crackle?" He whispers. "Umm, who is Crackle?" I ask him. "My cat" he whispers to me. "No sorry" I whisper back.

The door is on the opposite side of the room to the set, where we are hiding. The room is silent until there is loud rustling coming from the left side of the room. I poke James and signal him to get ready to run, he nods. We both peak around the corner and see the monster walking over to see what it is. "Get ready" I whisper softly. It starts rummaging through things so we run quietly. I unlock the door and I hear a cat screech. James opens it and pushes me through then shuts it. I think the noise was the cat and I think the cat is no more.

A/n: Hey guys I hope you enjoy I did a long chapter for you today, 1002 words☺️😊 (that's why I did paragraphs). I actually might do paragraphs now, it's easier to read.

And yesterday I think I found real pyrite on a rock (that's what is in the picture), so me being the persistent person I am had to smash that rock until I got some. Well I got some it's not a lot but it's enough for me because there wasn't much on the rock. My parents said it was gold trying to trick me but I don't think gold forms on a rock on a beach.
