ϟ ~ ϟ Chapter 5 ϟ ~ ϟ
“Watch out bitch.” The guy said and shoved me as he walked past me in the school’s corridor. I stumbled on my foot and was met once again with the floor, my things scattered around me. I sighed while sitting on my knees and started picking up the piece of papers.
Suddenly I felt someone kneeling next to me and helping me gather my stuff. I stopped midway shocked about whoever that person was, but they didn’t. They kept picking up the stuff and when they were done they handed them to me. That’s when I realized it was a boy. And a very familiar one.
“Hey are you okay?” he asked his voice concerned. I just nodded my head at him and his face suddenly changed. “Wait, do I know you from somewhere?” I shrugged my shoulders at him not really knowing the answer and as if he finally remembered he quickly added. “Oh, I know. You’re the mute girl from the bus.” He added and that’s when it hit me. I tried getting out of his way and once I did, I started walking away from him. But he didn’t get the message and felt into step with me. “So, you really don’t talk?” I nodded at him. “At all?” he asked shocked and again I nodded at him. “Never?” he added and I nodded for the third time in 10 seconds, trying to hide the amused smile that threatened to come out. “Wow.” He finally let out after a few moments and looked ahead of him. “I’m Jackson by the way.” I turned to look at him and he smiled.
Why is he talking to me?
That’s just weird.
And scaring, seeing his good looks.
He probably will go to the popular ones.
“Do you have a name?” he asked and I looked at him like he was crazy. “Well, what is it?” he asked and I shrugged my shoulders at him. “You don’t know your name?” he asked amused and I shook my head already annoyed. “Okay, sorry. Can you at least write it on a paper for me?” he asked and I couldn’t help but wonder why on Earth would he want that?
Either way, I took out a pen and a paper and wrote my name on it. When I was done I passed it to him and he smiled after repeating it out loud.
“Irina.” He said the name and paused standing in front of me making me halt. “Nice to meet you Irina.” He gave me his hand to shake and I looked at it then back at him. I finally place mine into his and shook it while smiling.
Did I just make a friend?

“So everybody hates you here?” he asked slowly and glanced around him with a disgusted look on his face. I nodded. “Why?” he asked and I shrugged my shoulders.
We were currently sitting at the school’s cafeteria.
I had my own table here. It was far away from the others and I actually was glad about it. Even though it was next to the toilets, I didn’t mind.
Well, I did mind the bad smell but anyways.
I got what I was given.
