Andy's P.O.V

I wonder how he found her so quick. She was just released the day before last. And it wasn't made public until yesterday. He must have a deeper hatred for her than I originally thought. I wonder where we're going. C.C and Ashlynn have been pretty cozy lately.

Ashlynn has her head on C.C's shoulder and is sleeping. He's stroking her hair and looking out the window. I turn to face him.

"Hey, C.C?"

He turns his head to look at me but doesn't stop stroking her hair.

"Yeah, man?" He says softly.

"What's up with you and Ash?"

He reddens slightly.

"Not much. She trusts me completely now. We talked and she let me in. So I guess she feels safe around me. Small victories." He chuckles slightly.

She let him in, and not me? Why doesn't she feel safe around me? I haven't done anything to make her not. Maybe she's just slowly going to let us all in one at a time. I shouldn't worry as much. She feels safe around us all. And she trusted me to keep her secret before she went to the hospital. Plus C.C does have a soft side.

"Well that's good. I'm glad she's talking to at least one of us."

"Yeah me too." He looks a little sad as he turns back to look out the window.

I turn towards Ashley in the back row. He's fast asleep and drooling a little. I laugh to myself and turn to the front. I lean on the window and I fall asleep.

****Andy's Dream**** (skip ahead if sensitive to blood and death.)

"Ashlynn, seriously why are you so happy? That's not like you at all."

"Oh, just excited that's all." She runs off into her room. I hear a crash and I run to where the noise came from. Ashlynn is sprawled out on the floor unconscious with a pool of blood around her. Her arms are too bloody. Her head is bleeding. She's not breathing. I try to revive her. She doesn't open her eyes or
gasp for breath. I feel for a pulse. There is none. I frantically look around for a phone to call 911. There's not a single phone around. What happened to all the phones? I need to call an ambulance, where are they? I search the whole house in a rush. There still aren't any phones. I run back into Ashlynn's room. She's still not breathing. Jake comes in and screams. He whips out his phone and dials 911. They come immediately and whisk her away. They don't let me go with her in the ambulance. Family only they say. I follow the ambulance to the hospital. Paramedics rush her in. She lost a lot of blood. The place looks like a murder scene. An hour later the doctor comes into the waiting room with a sallow face. "Excuse me for what I'm about to say. I'm sorry for your loss but she's gone." I drop to my knees and start screaming "Why?" Over and over again.

****End of Dream****

I wake with a start. The car is pulled over and Ashlynn is shaking me.

"Andy! Are you okay? You were screaming." She asks me, concern etched clearly on her face.

"Oh Ash!" I yell as I pull her into a bear hug.

"Andy, what happened?" She says into my chest as she wraps her arms around me.

"Oh I had a terrible nightmare. You were super happy and you went into your room and I heard a crash and you were lying in a bloody mess on the floor and I couldn't one any phones and then Jake came in and called 911 and they rushed you in and after an hour they came and told me you were dead. Oh it was terrible. I'm so glad you're okay."

"Shhhh, Andy. I'm alright. I'm right here. You don't have to be afraid anymore." She says while running my back.

"Oh I'm so glad. We can go now. I'm alright now." I say a little too shakily for my liking.

"Are you sure, Andy? We can stop for the night if you want us to."

"Yeah actually that would be great."

We pile into the car and we drive off in pursuit of a hotel. We find a Holiday Inn Express and pull in. We get four rooms and we give Ashlynn her own but a joint one with Jake and Jinxx. We all go up to our rooms with plans to leave at 6 the next morning. I get into bed and immediately fall into a dreamless sleep.
