chapter eight(dakota)

Dakota
I wake up to the sound of people walking. "Hey you have to go." I see Vanessa standing over me. I get up my head pounding and walk over to the door. "Bye." I call to her and walk out. I get an über and wait by the door till it picks me up. When I get to the hotel I go into my room and flop down on the bed and fall asleep. When I wake up I look at the clock and see it's already 1:00. I sit up and look around trying to remember anything from the party last night. I shrug and stand taking off my dress and heels. I walk into the bathroom and turn the shower on. I step into the hot water and slowly turn the cool water in making it tolerable on my skin. I wash away all the smells of the party. I go back out there wrapped in a towel and choose sweatpants and a big T-shirt. I lay on the bed and scroll on my phone for a bit. I text Mali to see where she is but I don't get an answer. I sigh and there's a knock on the door. I lug my body off the bed and walk to the door. I peek through the home and see Calum standing there. I open the door. "Hi." I say. Letting him in the room. "Hi, how's your head?" He asks me. I close the door and walk back over to my bed. I sit down and he sits in the chair. "It's better now I slept along time." I say shrugging. "You were wasted last night. Do you remember anything?" He asks me. "Nope not one thing. Why did I do something stupid?" I ask. He shakes his head and laughs. "No but you did tell me you liked me and I was really wondering if it was true." He says. My eyes widen. I can't believe I'd told him that. "Umm yeah it is but I never had the guts to say anything while I was sober I guess." I say. "I think I like you to." He says. I look at him and he walks over to me. I lifts my chin up and places his lips on mine. The door suddenly opens and we jump apart. Mali walks in smiling. "Yes I knew it." She says with delight. "Where were you? I was starting to get worried." I say. "Well not to worried by the looks of things." She says smirking. I roll my eyes at her. "Well I'm just going to go." He says. And he walks out of the room. "So where were you." I state line a mother. "Well if you must know I met someone aunt I went home with them." She says smiling. "Nice was he cute?" I ask already knowing the answer. She nods and walks to her bed throwing her body on it. "We danced almost all night and then went back to his place and did the deed and now he asked me if i wanted to go on a date with him. So of course I said yes." She says sighing. I laugh and sit next to her. "Get in the shower and we'll get you ready." I say she slowly sits up and I push her towards the bathroom. She goes in laughing and I hear the shower turn on. I set out all our makeup products and my curling iron. She comes out in a robe and I grab the blow dryer and she sits in her bed while I dry her hair. I brush it out nicely and start curling it leaving her makeup for last. "Your better than me at makeup so you can do that." I say she walks to the mirror and starts on applying concealer. I watch her and sit on my phone zoning in and out of anything she's doing. I am snapped out of my trance when there's a knock on the door. I stand up and walk over there. I look out the peep hole and see a tall brown haired guy. "I think your guy is here." I whisper to her. Her eyes widen and she grabs her dress and heels and runs to the bathroom. "Stall him." She says closing the door. I open the hotel door and stare at him. "Hi, is in Mali here?" He asks. "Yeah she is just finishing up come in." I say stepping away allowing him to walk in. "Sorry for the mess we just go in to America yesterday." I say looking at the room almost embarrassed. "This is nothing compared to my family, I swear my brothers were pigs." He says laughing. I laugh with him and I hear the bathroom door open. Mali stands there with a light blue dress and small white heels. "Sorry for keeping you waiting." She says. "I will alway wait if you always look this good." He says making her blush. I smile and sit on the bed. "Have fun you two." I say waving as they leave. Mali hugs me and grabs her purse. I lay back and close my eyes hoping for another nap when I hear a loud knock on my door. I groan and walk back over to it. I open it and Calum and the other boys are standing there. "What do you guys want?" I ask. "We have brought movies and pizza." Michael says holding up two boxes of pizza. Ash is holding some also and Calum shows me the movies. "Okay so." I says. "We want to hang with you and Mali." Luke says. "Mali went out so its just me." I say. "Okay so we can hang out then." Luke says and they all push their way in. They set the pizza down on the dresser and Cal puts the first movie in the DVD player.   I get in the bed with my pizza and they boys all gather in with me. "You know there's two bed right." I say. "But the point is to hang out so one bed will do just fine." Ash says. I roll my eyes and eat my pizza watching the movie Cal picked. It is Dumb and Dumber and am laughing way to much. Cal and I look at each other and he smiles at me. When that movie is over Mikey gets up and puts in The Conjuring. Luke groans. "Do we have to watch this, you know I sit like scary movies." He says. Mikey laughs and we watch it anyway. I hold Cals hand and I lay my head in his shoulder. After awhile he puts his head on mine. I breath in his scent. I smile and close my eyes hearing Luke screech. I slowly slip into sleep.
