I'm Scarlet, I'm 19, about to turn 20, and attending online college. I love photography and music. I live with my bestfriend, Vanessa. I have a boyfriend, Ethan. We have been dating for 5 months. I have grown feelings for him over those five months, but he was first a distraction from my other bestfriend's boyfriend, Ross. I know that sounds hoe-ish. I love both of them, so much. And I'm caught in the middle.

"Scarlett!" I hear my bestfriend's cute Australian accent call from her bedroom.

"Yea, Court?" I respond from the couch.

"I need help!"

I walk into her room, and there are clothes scattered everywhere.

"Woah.."

"Pick out my outfit for our date tonight." She says, plopping down on her unmade bed.

Tonight Ross, Courtney, Ethan, and I are going on a double date. I know it's going to be hard, but I have to pull through it.

"Okay." I look through her closet, finally finding a nude colored suede skater dress.

"Black heels." I jokingly throw the dress at her face, chuckling.

"Shall we start getting ready?" She asks.

"Yea, we better. Ethan and Ross will be here soon." I say, and pull out concealer from her makeup bag and start applying it.

"So, how is the Vanessa and Rocky situation working out?" She asks, applying concealer after me.

I'm trying to get Vanessa and Rocky together, but they absolutely hate each other. So, it's kinda pointless. She's the type of girl that doesn't really have an interest for love, so I push her towards it a lot, because I'm that type of friend.

"Well, basically same as before. Still
hate each other." I stifle a laugh.

"Ya know, I think Rocky might actually like her." Courtney smirks at me.

"Really?" My voice turns to a higher pitch.

"Yea. I see the way he looks at her." She looks back at herself in the mirror.

After I'm done with my makeup, I put on the little black dress Courtney is letting me borrow.

A few minutes after Courtney puts on her outfit, the boys show up.

"Scarlett! Courtney!" I hear the familiar voice that belongs to my boyfriend call from the living room.

"Hey babe." I say and walk out of her room.

I see Ross step in after Ethan, our eyes immediately locking. But, I am caught off guard when Ethan grabs my hips and pulls me in for a kiss.

I feel eyes burning into the side of my head, then look back and see Ross. Our eyes meet again, but he quickly looks away when Courtney runs up to him, they share their affections.
