This day had been the day where some had been waiting for.
or the day where some have been dreading for.
Graduation.
The day where we are not longer students anymore.
We can no longer use the "student" title as excuses to get away from doing things we don't wish to do.
"Are you excited for this?" Jeongguk asked me.
"Mhm." I mumbled not really knowing whether I'd be happy or sad for graduating.
"You okay there?" He whispered.
I smiled at him and nodded.
I couldn't talk.
My mind was running with thoughts.
What would I do afterwards?
Do friends stay as friends afterwards?
Do we all drift apart?
It's a scary world out there.
Will I be able to manage it myself?
Cheers began to echo through my mind.
Everyone started to throw their books away up into the air.
I stared at the books high up in the sky, slowly falling back down into the hands of the graduates.
Everyone looked so happy on the outside.
But did they all feel happy on the inside?
I looked around, trying to see whether I could find Yoongi or Hye Jin.
I couldn't see them anywhere.
"Let's go." Jeongguk said to me as he grabbed my hand and started running.
"Where are we going?" I asked him.
"You'll see." He smiled back at me.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
He took me to the park that I used to always visit during high school.
"Why did you bring me here?" I asked him.
He stared back at me, smiling.
"You sure do have a lot of questions today don't you?"
"Get to the point Jeongguk." I glared at him.
"Fine, fine." He laughed.
"It's been a long time since we've visited this park hasn't it?" He smiled as he looked around the park.
"Look at the young children happily smiling and laughing at each other as they run around with their friends."
"Doesn't this remind you of the younger us?"
"You know, when I first met you, you were a really shy girl."
"You only sticked to him..."
"You were such a strange girl, unlike the ones I've met before."
"But you were dating him..."
"You still remember that kiss on that night?"
"I regretted it for a period of time because you were still dating Yoongi."
"But let me tell you now, I don't regret it at all."
"I'm glad I kissed you that night."
"It made me realise how much I loved you."
"The reason why I disappeared for such a long time?"
"It was also cause of you."
"I realised I was making a huge mistake"
"You were dating who I used to call best friend, I made a terrible mistake."
"I couldn't face what would happen so I ran off so I could stop liking you."
"But it didn't work."
"I just couldn't get you out of my mind."
"Day and night, all I did was think of you."
"I'm glad I was able to be there for you during the tough times you had suffered."
"I hope that from now on you can hold onto my hand and that we can go through things together."
"So can you answer a question of mine?"
I stared at Jeongguk the entire time, not knowing how to react.
Was I happy?
Was I sad?
"What is the question you want to ask me?" I asked him as I stared into his glowing eyes.
"Kim Na In, will you-" He tried to say but was interuppted by one of the members of BTS.
"Jeongguk! Na In! Quick! I have terrible news!" Namjoon came running to us.
"What's wrong?" I asked him back.
He was shaking.
I could tell something serious had happened.
"Its Yoongi." He huffed.
