"So, what brings you to this part of the castle? I don't expect visitors very often, you're quite the audacious surprise." Seto smiled from ear to ear, his eyes flickering purple and his pale, cold hands turning bright.
"I could honestly care less about your games, Seto, just hear me out." Mitch's voice was hushed, a low whisper and a scowl on his face. "You already know that I'm not suppose to be here."
"I would assume you came here to patch up things with King Jerome in order to stop the war? What a pleasant thought—peace." Seto hummed, grabbing his potion from the top shelf. Mitch's eyes scanned the other as he strolled closer and lifted up his chin. Despite the height difference between the two, the Canadian was intimidated.
"You see, Rebellious Mitchell, dimensions work in silly ways." Seto had started, levitating off of the ground and floating around the room. The bookshelves shook, the potions remained situated in a still motion. "In one dimension, I could be a silly little human, and in the other I could be a ruthless Sorcerer."
"You know you don't have to work for Jerome." Mitch replied, changing the subject. His voice was grim; low, "I can treat you better than he can. You're just rotting away in this den blindly following his orders."
"The only reason I came here was because King Ty was treating me worse." Seto scolded, quickly floating towards the other. He lifted up his chin once more, his eyes purple with fury, "what do you suppose you'd have to offer, Rebellious Mitchell? Riches? Love? The end to this wretched war?"
"I want you to come with me and leave this castle—that is my main purpose for coming here." Mitch murmured quiet enough for the brunet to hear. His voice was husky as his hazel eyes shifted from the other's purple fury. Seto cocked his head backwards, laughing darkly.
"I'm in awe, Rebellious Mitchell. You choose to come here on forbidden grounds just to get me, a pitiful Sorcerer, onto your side?" Seto had stopped laughing.
"You're vital to our success, Seto. Please, just come with us—remember who you once were before all of this happened." Mitch had begged, falling onto his knees. He pled.
"Who I once was?" Seto questioned, turning. "That idiotic little soul who ran around pouncing at whatever he could? The one who was happy and threw remarks at every chance?"
Seto took a deep breath, then turned away and gazed out the window, "I decline."
Mitch opened his mouth to retort something, but within the flash of the moment he was teleported out of the den. He stood outside the castle, face covered in purple dust and bruised on his arm. He scoffed, dusted himself off, then turned away and headed back to base.
