Snowbarry: Chapter Four

Couples Crime Fighting

"Barry, Caitlin there's a robbery at CC Gold Bank. You should both take this one," Cisco said through the comms. "I'll be right there," they both said in unison. Caitlin flew to the bank and got there a couple of seconds after Barry. "I was in the neighborhood," Caitlin commented walking up to Barry in costume and kissing him. "Guys, robbery!" Cisco third-wheeled.

"Oh look it's The Flash and his girlfriend FROST," the meta taunted. "His wife actually," FROST snapped. The meta waved his hand and a piece of glass flew towards Caitlin. Barry quickly moved her out the way. Caitlin waved her hand and the meta's feet froze. "How about we treat this guy like we treat our son, how bout it babe?" Caitlin said pulling herself off the ground. The meta waved his hand and a wall started to crash down on them. Caitlin froze an impenetrable roof over their heads so the wall wouldn't fall on them and crush them.

Caitlin shot and ice spike at the meta but he used his telekinetic power to send it flying back at her. Barry managed to catch it but just in time. Barry ran up behind the meta and punched him so Caitlin could freeze his body. Barry ran the meta and Caitlin to STAR labs.

"That was close," Caitlin commented, removing her mask. "Too close, I'm not losing you again," Barry replied, embracing her tightly. "Relax, I can take care of myself," Caitlin assured. "You shouldn't have to,". "I could say the same to you,". 

"We need to pick up Natalie from school, let's go," Caitlin said, grabbing barry's hand and walking out the door.

"Mommy! Daddy!" Natalie exclaimed as she ran towards them. "Hey bug, how was your day?" Barry smiled, picking her up. "Great," Natalie replied. Barry carried her into the car and she sat in the seat on the left side of the car. Nora, who was still two, was sitting on the right with Henry, who was still one, in the middle. Natalie's first school year in kindergarten was almost finished which meant that Nora would be starting her's soon. 

The three children were giggling in the back of the car while Barry and Caitlin were talking. "It's strange how they've grown up so fast," Caitlin commented. "Cait, Natalie's only three almost four and Nora's is only two almost three and Henry is only one almost two," Barry replied, half concentrating on the road, half concentrating on Caitlin. "I know but it only feels like yesterday when they were tiny. It only feels like yesterday when we were naive teenagers," Caitlin explained. "We weren't naive. We said we'd be together forever and we will be. Everyone who doubted us should look at us now. We're happily married with three beautiful kids and we all have superpowers," Barry disagreed. "I guess but we expected everything to be perfect and I guess we knew deep down that it wouldn't but we still thought that,". "Our life together might not seem perfect to what the old us would've thought but to me our life is perfect. The kids are perfect and so are you," Barry reassured. "I love you," Caitlin replied softly. "I love you too,".
