~Miyu’s POV~
You dragged Yokuto down the street, but not really because he is really tall so you had to take two or three more strides to match his one, heading back to the hotel room. You couldn’t wait to introduce him to Falene. She would give you hell later for bringing him to your place but you really didn’t care. He was a really good friend and she was like a sister so they had to meet. You were still a long ways away but you ended up stopping for a quick breather because you were really tired. Yokuto was looking at some stuff in one of the shops when this girl in her late twenties approached you.
“Hello. Are you Miyu?” The girl asked. She was kinda tall, like Falene’s height, along with pale blue eyes hidden by long black bangs. Her face was thin but not sickly thin and she had a really nice physique.
“Depends who’s asking and what they want with me.” You said crossing your arms and raising an eyebrow suspiciously.
“The name is Kotori Dawn. I’m Falene’s older sister.” Kotori said pointing to herself. You narrowed your eyes and put your hands on your hips.
“Falene’s sister, huh?” You asked with attitude lacing your words. There was something about this girl that you didn’t like. She looked fake or something. Her smile was forced and her eyes were lying. Just like Falene’s do. Something was wrong. Very wrong. “Where’s Falene? I want to talk to her.” Kotori looked confused.
“She’s fine. I just came to get you so we could go out on the water for a picnic. Falene’s meeting us out at the harbor.” Kotori explained as Yokuto came back to your side.
“Bullshit.” You said plainly. Kotori blinked and then put her hands on her hips.
“What?” She asked.
“Falene hates water. She can’t swim so she wouldn’t want to have a picnic on the water.” You posed yourself ready for a fight. “Where is she really? And what’s wrong with her?” Kotori instantly dropped the façade and smirked.
“So, you seen through me eh?” She said. “Too bad. I would have rather killed you in privacy.” She pulled out her gun and lazily pointed it at you. “Would you rather: A) die fast, or B) die slow?”
“How ‘bout: C) none of the above.” You said rolling to the side as she shot. Yokuto screamed a bit and dived behind a sales cart. He wasn't exactly the brave type. People started screaming and running everywhere as you covered your head behind an ice cream cart. You cursed under your breath and pulled out Cratos (your gun) and a handful of bullets from your pocket. Kotori whistled and scratched her head with her gun. She looked at the ice cream cart with sad eyes.
“Too bad. I like ice cream.” She said sadly. People ran passed her screaming, some crying and Kotori looked at them annoyed. “Gosh, it's like they’ve never been shot at before.” She said. You put Cratos back in its holster ready for use and pulled out your nun chucks (don’t ask me why, Sora said to use nun chucks), running at her.
“It’s because they haven’t!” You said and she turned and shot at you. You spun your nun chucks around and blocked all the bullets still advancing on her. She moved her head back and to the side as you swiped at her. She swung her arm back around and hit you in the side of the face with the barrel of her gun. A sharp pain fired through your head as you hit the ground. You jumped up quickly only to be taken by surprise by a bullet hitting your shoulder. You felt like you were in slow motion. This was the first time you had been shot and you felt numb. It was one shot in the shoulder but it hurt like you wouldn’t believe. The pain was blinding so much so, that the impact from hitting the ground did nothing to you. Kotori stood over you with a victorious smirk on her face. She pointed her gun at the center of your forehead.
