I directly leave home after glee club. I grabbed my skateboard and made it there in fifteen minutes. I made it there only to be approached by my foster parents Eileen and Ricky. What did I do now? Was all I could think.
"Am I in trouble or something?" I hesitantly ask.
"No. There is just someone to see you in the study room" Eileen says
Note how I refer to them by first name. I really don't like them. They are a selfish kind of foster parents. And the study room is just a room where we go for punishment. Not abuse but just get locked in there for what is deemed wrong. I am the only kid left here unadopted for now but I can't wait to get out of this hell hole. I only know what I am going through. Just me and Sam at First but now me. It is better this way. I make my way past my room drop my stuff off and walk into the room, seeing two adults. A man and woman embracing hands and staring out a window. Really cliché.
"Can I help you?" I ask kindly
"You must be Aldo. I am Anna and this is my husband Gabriel Sanchez" She said as she gestures for me to sit down.
"Very nice to meet you boy. So you must just be getting back from school. "
I respond "Yes sir. Well sort of. I just got back from glee club"
"What is glee club?" Anna asked "I have never known a high school to have that when I was younger"
"That is because your old" He jokes and she gives him a scolding look. "My wife loves me and she knows it"
"Anyways" she responds
"Glee is a club to express musical and dance talent. We compete in three competitions a year. If we pass the first one. It is against other schools to basically sees who is the best. But that's not why your here. Can you both tell me why?"
