Day 3

I had gotten about six emails for the newbies to perform. Which actually surprised me that they wanted to perform first. So I set up the auditorium while they were in class. I set up enough stools and two center stage. I want everyone close enough to watch. So five duets today and then I go to meet with Tina. What surprise me the most when I got my email is Melanie and Aldo are doing a song with two other people. One other newbie and a returning . She likes him but has a boyfriend. Let us see how this turn out. Glee club is about to start

"Welcome back everyone. This is the third day of our first week of glee. I know our newcomers have all decided to perform today. I am proud of your enthusiasm. I hope it isn't just to get it out of the way" I laugh. " Now first we have Matthew and Enid singing Good Morning Baltimore"

I clap for them as soon as they finish there song. It was a great first try. Throughout the next couple of weeks. I am positive they will succeed at sectionals. These kids are young and spritely. Music matters to them and I know they will enjoy this year.

Then the one I guess I really have been waiting for. The duet between my sister Melanie and Aldo and George and Jane. I have a feeling there will be some tension there. He likes her. I can tell. She sort of likes him but she has a boyfriend. I know best her long distance relationship won't work. But I want to protect her from everything. They both go through shared troubles and pain. They might be good together so we will see what happens.
