Rachel's Pov

Today was just a normal day like any other I suppose. I wake up early in the morning. I make my breakfast of oatmeal and toast with a fruit and vegetable smoothie. Sectionals is one week away. Today I have the plans to pick up all of there clothes. All of our sheet music. Finish paperwork to hand to the judges and then set up the stage throughout the week, since sectionals will be performed here. I have taught these kids. They are phenomenal and I hope in two months time that they will be on that stage in L.A then 4 months in New York.

I take my drink and accomplish my day. I place all of there dresses and suits in my office at the school. And I drop off the final paperwork. I picked up some lasagna to throw in the oven for dinner. With some garlic bread and green beans. With a bottle of wine. With this upcoming week. I need to stop eating fast food. I place my bag on the counter and prepare the food to go in. Just as I finish everything I hear the door unlock.

Rachel: Melanie is that you? Did you forget something last week?

I walk past the kitchen. And towards the front door. It isn't Melanie. At first I couldn't see. Until he turned around. The shock and happiness was shown on my face

Rachel: *starts to cry* Finn? Finn is that you? Are you really home?

Finn: It is. I am here my love. I'm home. I missed you so much

I run to him and hug him. I cry and In this moment I feel whole. I don't want him to let go. But my food timer goes off

Rachel: What are you doing back so soon? It has only been about a year. I thought you would be gone for another

I move towards the kitchen and place the food on plates. Pour some wine as I see he place his bags down. My husband in his airforce uniform.

Finn: Well I had the choice. And I chose against it. I felt great serving but I knew I was meant to be here with you. I wanted to be back with my wife, my friends, my family. I really appreciated your letters. It made the whole year go by fast

Rachel: I am really glad you liked it so. I am glad to not have to write anymore. I am glad to have you in front of me from now on. *Kisses him* now is it just you or did puck come back as well?

Finn: He is on his way. He stayed behind to finish some things. In about a week he will return.

Rachel: That's great news. Both of us have our husbands back. I love you Finn

Finn: I love you to. So much Rachel

We finish dinner. He goes upstair to unpack. Tonight will be the first night in a whole year that I won't be sleeping alone. I can't wait for tomorrow
