Once the initial panic had died down, excitement and anticipation bubbled in my stomach as I left my barely touched hot chocolate and walked quickly towards the bridge. My legs began to shake with nerves as I approached the bridge.
Taeyong was already there, bright white hair gently blowing in the wind. His eyes were tracing over the dark horizon and the stars shone in his eyes. Even though moments ago I was talking about how everything that happened in Santorini was a fantasy, I couldn't deny his beauty.
Hesitantly, I began to take slow steps towards him. It took him a long time to notice I was approaching him but as soon as he did, his face broke out into a smile. I could feel heat crawling along my skin despite my efforts to fight it.
Taeyong jogged over to me and grabbed my hands. His hands were a lot warmer than mine and I could feel the heat from his hands warming my own. "Oh, you're freezing cold! Here." Taeyong's face is laced with concern as he removes his jacket and wraps it around my shoulders. My eyes gaze over his features and I can't help but stand there in shock.
"What did you want to talk about?" The words fall from my mouth before I can stop them. Of course I wanted to know why he wanted to meet on the bridge at 2AM but part of me was scared and didn't want to find out.
Taeyong inhales deeply and exhales a cloud of condensation, obscuring my view of him. Once the cloud fades, I see that he's looking directly into my eyes. "We haven't known each other long, right?" He asks.
"Correct."
"Right. I think you know what I mean though, when I say we have a connection." Taeyong fumbles with his words and I can tell he's struggling to form what he wants to say.
He pauses for a moment, pursing his lips together as he tries to think of what to say next. "I know you're not like any other girl." He moves closer to me, there's barely any space between us.
I take a step back. "You have a girlfriend..." I trail off, turning away from him and gazing to the sky. Taeyong grips my wrist and spins me around to face him again.
"Don't walk away again. In fact, I won't let you walk away. If you'd let me talk to you earlier, I would've told you that the only reason me and Hana are together is because our parents willed it. We're both the heirs of companies and our parents want us to get married to expand business. I don't love her." Taeyong confesses, the way he gazes into my eyes makes me want to move even closer to him.
"She's clearly in love with you." I mumble, finally managing to break my gaze away from his and stare to the floor.
Taeyong gently places to fingers on my chin and lifts my head to look at him again. "Well I love someone else. I'll find a way out of this relationship. And once I do, I'll make you mine. I promise."

When I returned to the dorm, Hana was still awake, sitting on the sofa watching TV. After the conversation I just had with Taeyong, even just being in the same room as Hana made me feel uncomfortable. "Shouldn't you go to sleep? You have classes tomorrow." My voice was small and weak.
"Don't tell me what to do." She snaps at me coldly. Weird, I know she's a bitch but she's not usually that bad. Casting her cold comment aside, I dash to my room and shut the door, crashing to the bed and pulling out my phone.
Batman: Are you still awake? I meant what I said on the bridge. Don't forget it.
Batgirl: It's weird, you're being serious. Go to sleep and wake up as goofy Taeyong again.
Batman. Sure thang gurl.
Batgirl: I knew the serious thing wasn't going to last.
Batman: Go 2 sleep plz. U need da rest.
