Since my parents seemed quite content without my company, I spent the rest of my day with Taeyong. To be honest, I probably would've had better company if I spent my day with a pigeon. He constantly made bad puns and borderline dad jokes as we walked along the beach. Every bad joke he made earned an eye roll and a long sigh from me.

After just an hour of spending time with Taeyong, I was already annoyed with him. "Come on, you gotta admit my jokes are eggcellent." Taeyong smirks, nudging my side with his elbow.

"If you make one more joke, I swear down I will get out my samurai sword and kick your ass." I warn, pointing a finger at him.

Taeyong pauses for a second and I know he's already trying to think of another pun. "I'm gonna stop you right there before you make another pun." I hold my hand up as a barrier between us and he laughs, swatting my hand away.

"You are not a samurai." He laughs.

I raise my eyebrows and then raise my fists. "You wanna bet? Fight me, right now." I challenge him, raising my fists to cover my face. Taeyong laughs, gently pushing on my shoulder but with enough strength to push me over.

"Some samurai you are." Taeyong smirks at me as he extends his arm towards me and helps me up.

My eyes narrow at him. "You're a pain in the ass." He continues to keep that arrogant smirk on his face as he waits for me to brush the sand from my jeans.

Something about the way he stared at me made me feel uncomfortable yet intrigued at the same time. His was the type of stare that was fierce yet comforting at the same time. He looked like the bad boy type and yet the best jokes he had were dad jokes.

"You love me really." He smiles sweetly, beginning to act cute until I fake gagged. He looked hurt for a moment but then he looked at me with a genuine smile. I smiled back, enjoying his stare like this. When he smiled at me like this, it made me feel like I was really special. I hated that he made me feel like that.

He began to walk towards me and I began to freeze up. 'Please don't hug me' was all I could think. I'm too awkward for this. We only met the other day and he's going to hug me. Taeyong pushed past me, his shoulder colliding with mine as he walked straight past me. Rude.

I spun around as fast as I could. "Yah!" I yelled as loud as I could, attracting some strange stares from some strangers. Taeyong simply ignored me as he continued walking towards the ice cream shop he'd set his sight on. That guy is still a child, I swear down.

I follow behind him like an angry toddler, stomping my feet on the ground. A little bell suspended above the door rang out as Taeyong pushed the door open. I followed close behind him and even though I thought he was being a gentlemen and holding the door open for me, he wasn't and let go of the door, letting it swing back and crash into me.

Once I'd regained myself, I pushed through the door and punched Taeyong on the arm. "Yah! You let that door hit me, you jerk!" I yelled but he just shushed me. "Don't shush me! You just let a door hit m-" Taeyong covered my mouth with one of his hands without even looking at me.

He ordered two ice creams before removing his hand from my mouth and finally turning to acknowledge my presence. "You ordered me ice cream without asking what I wanted." I note as Taeyong grabs his two ice creams from the man behind the counter.

He looks at me with confusion. "Who said I was buying you ice cream?" He questions, beginning to eat the first as he exits the store. My mouth drops open as I continue to walk like an angry toddler following him along the beach, kicking up clouds of sand as I went.

We chose a spot on the beach that was far away from the other tourists and sat down. "Hey....Jihyo....What time did the man go to the dentists?" Taeyong asks with a mouthful of ice cream, barely able to articulate.
