Jin rubbed his eyes as his slippers shuffled against the wooden floor. He opened up to fridge, slightly shivering at the sudden cold, and pulled out the milk. He set the coffee machine and waited. Charlotte came out."Hey." She gently said.
Jin smiled and hugged her. "Good morning."
"You don't usually make coffee, what's with the special occasion?" She asked.
"Sangchil stayed up late. I saw her bedroom light on, so I thought I should make her some so she stays awake in her classes."
Charlotte chuckled. "You're such a good friend."
"Well not just only that, we've been together for so long, I feel like i'm a long lost brother to her."
"That would be cool." Charlotte sighed.
Sangchil's door opened. "Oh god... I only slept for 4 hours..."
"And that's why there is caffeine in the world." Jin handed her a mug of the dark beverage. "You shouldn't stay up that late, Sangchil."
Sangchil sat down and took a sip. "I know, I just couldn't sleep. And hey, i'm an adult, you're not to tell me what to do." She joked.
"But I am worried for you. We both are."
Charlotte took a seat too. "Sangchil, it's not good for you. These days you look distressed. What's going on?"
Someone knocked on the door.
"I'll get it." Jin got up, leaving the two females.
When Jin opened the door, he first frowned. "May I ask what you're doing here so early?"
Taehyung looked surprised. "I'm here to go to class with Kwan."
Sangchil's ears perked up. "Taehyung?" She called.
"Can I come in? Please?" Taehyung asked.
Jin opened the door wider without saying anything. "Whatever."
"What're you doing here?" Sangchil said.
"So we can go to classes together." He smiled. "Wait. Do they know?" He pointed at a confused Jin along with Charlotte who was curious.
Sangchil shook her head.
"Know what?" Jin said. "What's happening?"
"Long story." Sangchil cut off short.
Charlotte glanced at the clock, "We've got time. Shoot."
---
"Usually I don't get awkward, but at that time I did." Taehyung held his chest. "That was really odd."
Sangchil threw her head back in laughter. "Jin is like that. Just be thankful that it was the morning where he's groggy and lazy. If not he would probably hit you with his cooking spatula. Then just smile. I think he's a sadist..."
"Whatever. I'm glad they were okay with it."
"Of course they were. It's not a real relationship, Tae. Jin says as long as i'm under his watch. God, that just sounds creepy."
In the distance, Sangchil spotted Hanbin with Soyeon.
"Great, she's there." She muttered.
Taehyung held her hand. "Let's go."
When they approached the other two, Hanbin smiled. "Heeeey, Sangchil."
"Hanbinnie."
Soyeon smirked, but then a wave of slight confusion washed over her when she saw Taehyung and Sangchil holding hands.
"Hello, Soyeon." Taehyung greeted. He made sure to hold Kwan's hand tightly.
Soyeon looked annoyed. She ignored him and turned to Sangchil. "Do you remember that good friend of ours in high school? You definitely would remember her too, Taehyung. "
"Wait, you guys went to school together?" Hanbin interrupted. "That's so cool!"
"I know!" Soyeon cheered. "Anyways, I think this friend you'll remember fondly. Come." Soyeon called in the distance.
She had two braided pigtails. She wore a jean-jumper skirt dress with a black bomber jacket with her red converse.
"Nice to see you again, Sangchil." Taejoo greeted a little too sweetly. "Oh, and hi Tae!"
