After a handful of hours, the plane that was once in Melbourne was now in Seoul, South Korea.
"Wake up~" Taehyung said.
Sangchil was stone still. She didn't move.
"Hey." He tapped her face. He went to his last resort: Taehyung jerked his shoulder forward so that she hit her face on the seat in front of her.
Sangchil rubbed the sore part of her forehead and sent daggers at her boyfriend. "Wow, you're so nice." She said sarcastically.
"I know." He said proudly. "I should really win an award—"
"—For being the meanest." She frowned and rubbed her forehead.
They took a taxi to their place. While Sangchil was looking out the window, reminiscing her past. The familiar city that she grew up in was right at her fingertips.
"Taehyung." She whispered.
He looked up from his phone. "Yeah?"
"Is it a bad thing to say that I regret leaving Seoul in the first place? I mean, I loved Australia, but here... Here there's—"
Taehyung kissed her suddenly. "No, it's not a bad thing. It's perfectly fine."
"How many years has it been?"
"Long enough for me to lose track, Kwan." He winked. "C'mon. We're here."
Taehyung payed the driver and hoped out to retrieve his belongings along with hers.
"Is this where you lived?" She asked.
"You could say so. Jimin texted me and said they were inside."
"Jimin?" She said.
"Yeah, do you even remember him? Honestly, what goes on in your mind?" He poked her.
"Argh, geez, I remember him, dammit." She rubbed her face. "Stop touching me."
"Babe, you should take that back because I know you can't resist me." He smirked.
"H-Hey, let's hurry and get inside, yeah?" She picked her bags up and walked ahead.
Before he could knock, the front door swung open with a male who's eyes were big. "Taehyung hyung!" He shouted and grabbed him in for a hug.
"Jungkook-ah! You've become huge! " Taehyung shouted back.
Sangchil peeked out from behind the bro-hug. She saw that there were balloon, banners, and food around. She recognized Namjoon, who sat in a stool and then got up.
"Namjoon." She smiled.
"How was the flight?" He asked kindly.
"The flight? It was only okay. Sitting next to this guy was painful." She whispered while pointing to Taehyung.
They all greeted each other and talked a lot. Sangchil stuck next to Taehyung mostly because she was still kind of shy around a couple of his friends.
She found Taehyung by himself in the kitchen, refilling the platters of food. "I didn't know you had lots of friends."
He quickly pecked her lips. "I do. What—you thought I was loner?"
"Not really. I mean, I knew who your close friends were..."
He pecked her lips again. And again.
