Chapter 7: United

Craig's POV

My lion tail moved behind me as I watched the horrid room in front of me. My lion ears flapped around as I heard little tiny noises of rats running around the room. I looked over at Tyler, who was looking off into space. His eyes wandered into his mind as he twiddled his thumbs. I smiled and looked back into the empty room. 

Nanners slams the huge doors open into the room, looking upset. He speed walks through the big hallway, with a look on his face. I stand up quickly, bowing before him. Tyler does as well. He gives both of us a glare, making me confused. He stomps up the stairs underneath his thrown, climbing up them and sitting down. He growls, while looking at us. "Sir, may I ask what's wrong?"

"Why should you know?!"

"Umm...Never mind, sir." He growls again at the last words I spoke. I looked down, pretending I didn't speak a word. Tyler looked at Nanners, bad choice. Nanners saw him watching. He got up from his thrown and went towards Tyler, grabbing him with his black mist. He lifted him up by his neck, rising him up. Tyler choked on his saliva, making me get up from my seat running towards them. "It's very rude to stare, Tyler!"

"I-I'm s-sorry!"

"You better be sor-" I hit him square in the stomach before he could speak another word. I watched him fall to the ground, covering his stomach. The black mist around Tyler's neck slowly started to evaporate. I ran beneath him and caught him before he could drop to the floor. He coughed in my arms, holding his neck. 

Nanners got up, looking at us, giving us an evil grin. "Are you sure you want to mess with the evilest hybrid? Are you sure you want to mess with the most powerful being in the world?!"

"I think your wrong! You aren't the most powerful hybrid! Jonathan and Evan are the most powerful! They can overcome you!! You will never be as good as them!!" He laughed, his hands started to glow a dark red. His eyes turned pure black. He made an evil grin, making the place rumble and crack. The floor cracked open to reveal a red light coming out of it. I dropped Tyler, he landed on the ground with his feet. We both trembled above the earth, making us almost fall.

Nanners rose his hands in the air, making the cracks in the floor turn into gateways for huge hell hounds to rise. The hell hounds roared and rose up from the cracks, cracking the floor even more with there claws. "You would have been great, you would have been mighty, you would have been more than powerful. You two could have changed the world by showing them how much power you have, just hearing them scream for mercy. But...Since you won't go with me...I'll have to kill you both!" Nanners laughed and flung his hands forward, making the hell hounds run straight at us.

Tyler and I both looked at each other, nodding. We looked back, glaring at the enemy. I took a step forward, roaring, showing how much bravery I have. Tyler ran forward, jumping and turning into his pig form. I smiled and crouched, turning into my ball of fur. I looked up at the hell hounds, roaring like there was no tomorrow. We both charged at them, but something seemed different...

My forehead started to hurt, like something hot was there. I could tell his forehead hurt too, he shook his head down, closing his eyes. We both stopped at the pain. Just that second, a shot of pink light shot on top of us.

3rd POV

Craig and Tyler...The lion and pig hybrid, being united as a whole. The light shot down upon them, making a bubble around them. The bubble protected them, making the hell hounds pounce on it, failing. 

Craig...The hybrid predator, with the gift of Jonathan. Jonathan the hybrid goddess gave him the gift of, peace. Craig is like a diamond, he shines in the dark and soon makes his way out of the darkness. A diamond was placed on his forehead, with bright blue diamond colored eyes. His lion form looked beautiful with the new designs. 

Tyler...The hybrid prey, with the gift of Evan. Evan the hybrid goddess gave him the the gift of, harmony. Tyler is like a garnet, he knows when the darkness is there, he doesn't take it ,instead he overcomes it, finding a new way to defeat it. A garnet was placed on Tyler's forehead, with dark red eyes the color of garnets. His pig form looked stunning as the new accessories were placed.

The two roared, making the hell hounds roar back. The bubble started to evaporate, giving us enough time to get ready to fight. Craig's claws dug into the hard ground, making a little dent. Tyler's expression showed everything, he was fierce and ready. 

The bubble evaporated, making the hell hounds charge. Their was smoke coming out of there mouth, making them look more evil. Craig and Tyler charged as well, running to the demon's dogs. The hell hounds pounced at the two, making them duck and slide under them. Craig ran behind one of them, grabbing its tail making the dog yelp. Tyler ran to the next hell hound, jumping on top of it, biting his back neck with his teeth. The hell hound was like a bull trying to get the rider off of him. Black blood started to pour out of its neck, gallons at a time. Tyler kept biting harder and harder until the hell hound collapsed, letting it disappear in thin air.

Craig still held on to the beast's tail, climbing up it. Craig climbed to the top, pouncing on the head of the hell hound, letting out a roar into his ear, making the hell hound go crazy. He pounced everywhere, trying to cover his ears. The beast fell and crouched into a ball, evaporating. 

Craig and Tyler stood breathless as they stood shocked at how much skill they had. They both turned back into their human forms, crouching on the ground and panting. They started laughing. "Oh my god! I didn't know we could do that! Ha!"

"Yeah! I never kne- Wait! Where's Nanners?!" Tyler started looking around, searching for Nanners. But Nanners wasn't anywhere to be seen. Craig opened his mouth to speak but was cut off by another voice, "Hello boys! Now maybe we will see each other again, maybe you might be able to finally bring peace in the world. But we all know that isn't gonna happen when I'm still alive! Bye boys!" The two kept looking around, searching for him, but he was gone. 

Before they could both get up and walk out of the doors, a light of white appeared above them, making a portal for the two. They landed on their feet in a nice light place with clouds as the floor. The sky was a beautiful sunny day with only a few clouds covering it. A few winged creature soared through the skies, angels! But two of them caught both of their eyes,

"Hello, Craig and Tyler, welcome to The Temple Of The Hybrids"
