Chapter 8: Power

Tyler' POV

Me and Craig traveled through a grayish whitish background of turns and swirls. Craig some how held my hand throughout the little parade of white light. I blushed and kept looking forward in the distance. 

We landed on our feet, releasing our hands. I looked at our setting, we were in a very white place with clouds as the floor. The blue sky lit up as hybrid looking angels soared in it. The hybrid angels looked down at us, flying down and stared like we were different. I gulped and looked at Craig who was looking somewhere. I followed his gaze to two hybrids in particular. I smiled and ran towards them, bowing before them. The two of them smiled down at us and held hands. "Hello Craig and Tyler, welcome to The Temple Of The Hybrids."

"Thank you, sir" Craig spoke

"You can call me Jonathan, that would be fine."

"Yes, si-Jonathan"

Yep! It was non other than, Jonathan and Evan! They were standing right in front of us, looking down at us. We quickly stood up and smiled excitedly at them. All the hybrid angels circled around the four of us, whispering. Evan's wings expanded behind him. Jonathan's raccoon tail and ears popped out as well, swinging around.  "There is something we want to show you both, it's very important for your quest." We both nodded. 

The two smiled and turned around, walking to a huge building. Craig poked my shoulder, "Do you know what this is?"

"No, it looks like some theater or something."

"Yea"

We kept walking, and walked up the stairs to the building. Evan opened the doors for the three of us. We all walked in and looked around. The area around us was a huge area, like a training room. It was only a huge room, nothing in it. "What's so special about his building?" I asked, looking up. Evan turned to me and smiled. "You'll see." 

I kept quiet and looked at the two stop in the middle of the room, with their backs to us. Instantly the couple flew into the sky with just a lift of a leg. They soared in the air and circled around each other and their eyes were closed. A gust of blue and red sparkles came out of their feet, disappearing at the ends. 

One half of the walls started to turn blue, while the other started to turn red. The colors on the wall touched, making it turn into a slash of purple. The color spread across both walls. Jonathan and Evan started to glow with sparkling pockets of light, shining across every shadow. The only thing I could see was the outline of their body's. The light blinded me, making me rub my eyes. 

I opened them and found Evan and Jonathan in their hybrid form. But their hybrid form looked a lot different. Evan's owl form was red with a dark red feathers at the end. Jonathan's raccoon was blue with dark blue at the end of his tail and his face. 

They both shined in the light, looking like the gods they are. Their foreheads were marked with the same gems, but theirs were blue and red. They both flew in circles and smiled. They slowly went down towards the ground, with their feet having the same pace. I watched in delight as the light died down, making the walls go back to white. Jonathan and Evan put their feet on the ground, making everything go back the way it was. 

My eyes were almost popping out of my head, staring at the two smile down at us and laugh. Jonathan stepped forward and looked at the two of us. "Evan and I hold a power between us, it's very powerful when we're together. Other gods has given their powers to us, to honor our love. They have given us the power to show others how much love we can show. Those powers helped us prove that love comes in different ways. That power is great between us, but now they are calling for different hybrids are you two."

 I looked up at them, astonished. Craig looked at them and started breathing heavy. "W-Where do we start?! I mean...What?" They both laughed and smiled. Evan stepped forward, looking down. "You can start by being still." Evan lifted both of his hands, letting his fingers grave upon our head. 

When our heads and his fingers connected, me and Craig both flew up into the sky, disappearing into dust. 

My whole vision turned rainbow as I felt my body twist and turn through gravity. The rainbow kept twirling and spinning all over my vision. I looked over and saw Craig, the gem on his forehead shined. I guess mine did too because when I looked up, I saw a pink light coming from my head. 

I looked forward, looking at the dot in the middle of my vision getting bigger. The dot turned into a hole in the middle of the rainbow, leading to a sunny area. We kept getting closer to it until we finally went through it.

 Craig and I both landed on our feet and looked around. I widened my eyes as I looked around. It was Craig's home town, I think we were in his school..

With all the predator kids staring at me in shock.
