Chapter 24: I Want To Go Back

~One Year Later~

Craig's POV

I left my home, my one and only shelter that kept me safe. I ran away from my hopes and dreams that used to exist and make me who I am today. But after Tyler died, I was left untamed and hopeless...Know one to make home and nothing to claim. Just me, myself, and I.

Tyler's lifeless body, now being dragged from it's edges of heaven. My one and only, now gone at gods grip. I now walk the streets of L.A, covering my hybrid form as a hoodie was placed over my body.

My face was dried with the same tears that made me walk the streets of L.A. Since Tyler died, I am now wondering to myself, why I am still fighting this war? Why am I still fighting life without the person I love? Why am I still alive? Why not try and see my Tyler again?

Because I can't...

I can't torture myself anymore than I already have...

I walked the lonely streets, ignoring the strange looks from other people. They probably thought I was a drug dealer because of my appearance, which I find hardly believable. I was just a guy, well not just a guy. A hybrid willing to give anything to get his love back.

I kept walking further and further away from people, and found myself walking in an alleyway. Graffiti was marked on all the walls, some I found very beautiful and enchanting to the sight.

As I kept walking, I noticed...I wasn't alone...My footsteps stopped, giving time for other footsteps to stop. My eyes widened, as I felt breathing going down my neck. My breathing became erratic, as I felt a hand brush against my side. "Are you alone?" My whole body shook, as fear took over my body. I nodded slowly in response. His hand stopped at my shoulder. "What's a cute little boy like you doing out here...Alone?" 

His hand slid down again, which made me very uncomfortable to his touch. I was unable to move, due to the lack of air for me since I was so scared. "I-I...W-Walked i-in here accidentally." My voice stuttered as I spoke the words to him. 

His hand kept going down, until he put his hand somewhere that made me truly uncomfortable. "Accidentally? You poor thing, let me take you home with me. I can show you something truly...Breathtaking~" My eyes got bigger as my heart was practically beating out of my body. 

One of his arms wrapped around my waist as he put a cloth around my mouth,  I growled and tried to resist. But his grip was too tight on me. My eyes started to get heavy, and soon collapsed. The darkness took over me as I felt him pick me up, holding my innocent body. 

Life wasn't all that hard for humans, no ears, no tails, no worries. For the hybrids, their is always a demon by your side or even in you. Sadly, hybrids must keep their identity's hidden from the public eyes, just to keep our hybrid society safe. 

For me, it was nothing like that. I was turning full animal against the pitch blackness of the night. I just wanted my Tyler back...Is that so hard to ask?

~Dream~

The moon glistened and shined in the dark as it's light came down on me. I felt clear and happy, looking up at the moons light. I sat on the roof of my house, with no worries or anything. 

The one man I love and care for, the man that made me joyful and happy. The one man that made everything in my life change into a blossom tree...Tyler. Tyler was always there for me, even in the darkest of times. 

His beautiful eyes looked down at mine, as his smile lit up the whole sky with enchanting stars. His hand gripped mine, as we both looked in each others orbs. He started to lean in, making us closer and closer. I could feel his breathing on my lips, as my eyes started to slowly close. Our lips were millimeters apart until...Tyler turned into dust and swept away into the night sky. 

My eyes started to water, as my hands cupped my face. My hands were covered with salt water as the cold started to get to my skin. 

"It's ok, Craig. I'm here, I will always be here with you. Never feel lonely, I'm right here next to you..."

The words rang through my head as I looked around with tears streaming down my face. "Tyler?!" My voice echoed through the air, as no response was heard. I looked to my back, nothing...Just me.

"Where are you...?!"
