Dear Diary,

I kissed Wyatt. He never saw it coming. Oh and of course James was there too. I was really proud of myself but when I got back to my dorm, a note was on my desk.

Gemma-

Why did you kiss Wyatt? Does have to do something with Kendra kissing me? Gemma! She kissed me! If you really like me, meet me at the ROR at seven pm sharp.

Sincerely,

James Potter

I feel just awful terrible! Was James really telling the truth? I went to the room of requirement anyways. I walked down the long, dark, cold hallways of Hogwarts. Winter breezes blew through the windows. Dim candle light led me all the way to the room of requirement. I wrapped my dark cloak around me and tightly wound my house scarf around my neck. When I arrived at the door, I hesitated only for a moment before pushing them open. I walked in a rose petals were scattered across the floor. The were a nice deep red color and I smiled at the romantic gesture. Candles floated in the air and gave the cream walls a warm glow. In the center there was a table for two. The table cloth looked like it had been pulled continuously until it laid on the table perfectly. James sat on one of the chairs. He looked rather handsome with a white shirt and a black robe on. He pushed his shaggy hair to the side and I giggled slightly. I loved watching him play with his hair. When James saw me, he got up from his chair and walked towards me. He had a small red box in his hands. I could see it hiding behind his back. I'm not THAT stupid. I threw my arms around him and hugged him. I cried in his shoulder. He put his arms around me. I cried more. "I know," he whispered in my ear. How could I have been so luck as to have someone likes James in my life. This is probably what dad felt like with my mum. "I have something for you." I backed away and wiped my tears. I couldn't do this anyore "I don't deserve you," I blurted out but continued to talk "Why are you being so nice to me?" "It's because I like you Gemma Malfoy," he replied and smirked slightly. He could pass as my brother with that smirk. "Well actually, I love you Gemma Malfoy." He loves me? He opened the red box and inside was another charm. "James..." I started. He's so sweet. "I know, I know. It's been a year but I thought this one was perfect you know since the trust issues in all." It was a gold infinity charm. It matched the heart charm perfectly. I held out my arm. I was wearing the charm bracelet. I wore it everyday, like I promised him on Christmas. He put the charm on the bracelet. I watched him as he did this. Just like Christmas, James pulled me close but this time I stood on my tip toes, grabbed his head, and I...kissed him. I kissed James Potter. Well I had done it before but I did it. I kissed him! Omg. My dad would kill me if he knew anything about the James and Kendra thing or the me and Wyatt thing. Oh dear. James and I danced until 11:00 pm, way past our curfew. We walked out of the room of requirement. Just as the doors closed, Professor McGonagall pointed her lighted wand in our faces. Darn you loud wooden doors! "Miss Malfoy and Mr Potter," she said "Explain why the two of you were out of the Gryffindor dorms past curfew. I really would not like to take points away especially considering that I used to be head of the Gryffindor house." "Well, you see, Professor McGonagall, ma'am we were um," I started but James cut me off and said "You see the reason dear Gemma can't explain her absence from the Gryffindor common room is that she was sleep walking. I followed her because I heard her slip out of her dorm and I thought I would be a good friend by following her. So I went to the common room to see what was the matter and of course somehow we end up here. We should be heading back to the Gryffindor dorms. Goodnight Professor." He was so good at coming up with a cover. He had the same smirk plastered across his face. "Goodnight Mr Potter, Miss Malfoy," Professor McGonagall replied and pointed her wand downwards then left. James grabbed my hand as we raced back to the Gryffindor common room. "James, slow down," I whispered. "I don't want to caught again, especially by Filch," he replied. We kept running. We stopped at the portrait of a fat lady and said the password. She grunted at us because we had woken her up from her beauty sleep. We entered the common room and the fireplace warmed me and James. He pecked me on the check before we parted from each other. I entered my room and of course everyone was asleep except one girl in my dorm. And that girl happened to be Samantha Longbottom. "What were you doing," she asked. "I uh was with James," I told her. "I know that silly, what were you doing with him," she replied. "Uh, well, we talked and uh we danced and he kissed me," I said nervously. "Lucky. You gotta kiss a guy. I'm stuck with no one but you got cute, sweet James," she sighed. "I'm sure you'll find someone, after all we're still first years, Samantha," I reassured her. Samantha smiled at me and I smiled at her. I don't think I've ever told you about Samantha, diary. She's smart and pretty. She wear thick glasses. She has the same hair color as me. Her hair is straight, thin hair so it blows easily in the wind. It's so beautiful when it does that. I think her and Wyatt would make a good couple someday. Aww imagine the cute children they'd have. Omg I think I hear footsteps. I better go. Samantha is asleep now so I'm the only one awake. Bye diary!

    Sincerely,

    Gemma Jade Malfoy
