Entry 18-Matured

Dear Diary,

    Soon, I will be leaving for Hogwarts. I can't believe I'm going to be a seventh year. It seems like yesterday that I was a first year. Wow! Time flies. Scorpius has really grown up. Really mature. Kind of like dad. What am I saying? He is TOTALLY like dad! After he and Hailey had little Kyle, Scorp really changed his attitude. He is much more responsible and he is also very cautious. Must be his father instincts. Summer isn't married but I can tell she likes this guy in Gryffindor though. His name is Martin Ashwood. I think I may have mentioned him once or twice before to you, diary. She's been like in love with him ever since her fifth year at Hogwarts. Edward's engaged to Solest, obviously! They are madly in love with each other. Solest will not stop talking about it either! A lot has changed in the past six years since I first came to Hogwarts. Of course, I have stuck with James ever since. Cute, lovable, dependable James. Gosh, I say that a lot. Omg I'm blushing. Anyways, I'm going to see him later today. He owled me this morning. He's changed quite a bit too. He's matured out of his red hair. His hair was more of a brown color. His green eyes became almost... darker. Wyatt pretty much stayed the same except he got more freckles. Way more freckles. Probably the Weasley genes. I'm surprised that James didn't get more freckles. He has Weasley genes too. First year, I was an inch taller than James. Now he's like 5 inches taller than me! Stupid boys with their stupid late growth. It's totally my mum's genes. You should have seen my dad's height change over the years. He completely surpassed my mum. My mum has pictures to prove it. Why couldn't I be lucky like Summer and be tall like my father? Sometimes I really hate my family. We've all matured quite a bit over our Hogwarts years. Listen, I have to get ready for James. Write more later, diary! I can almost tell that something big is going to happen this year.
