Entry 24-The Legend of the Golden Trio

Dear Diary,

I received a letter from my mum. Here is what it said:

Dearest Gemma,

Me and your father miss you very much. Your father almost never acts like this so your explanation makes sense. I know what's going on. You asked me what the golden trio was your first year at Hogwarts. Now seems like a good time to tell that I was in the golden trio. It was me, James's dad, and Wyatt's dad. We helped kill Lord Voldemort whom I'm sure you've heard of in class. You may think it's cool Gemma but now's not the time. You need to read very closely. Legend has it, the golden trio will rise once again but only from the blood of the original golden trio. So that means that you, James, and Wyatt are the golden trio. You're only stronger together, trust me. You need to keep an eye on James and Wyatt. Otherwise, you'll never defeat the evil forces that have been brewing lately. I don't know what will happen if Kendra marries James. Sounds like a downward spiral for all of the wizarding world. I know all of this is so sudden but just remember if you need anything, I am here for you. Be careful!

Stay together? How can we? First off, James hates me and second Wyatt's in love with me! It'll be difficult but if Solest helps me I think we can do it. I can't imagine what would happen if James marries Professor Fairway. It would probably be bad just like mum said. It's cool that my mum helped kill Lord Voldemort but now's not the time for fawning over her accomplishments. This is a crisis! It's only been three weeks at Hogwarts and it's already turning out to be a terrible year. Then again, I'm sure my mum never had an uneventful year at Hogwarts. I'm so glad that I have my mum on my side. She's super helpful since she reads a lot. If the legend is true, then I'm in the next generation of the golden trio. Me, James, and Wyatt are the only way we can defeat Professor Fairway. The next few months of my life will probably be the most painful. I'm meeting Solest in the library in little bit. Better get ready. Gotta go!
