Haruhi and I jogged along the corridor, then I picked her up and flipped from wall to wall as fast as I could to music room three. I'll never hear the end of it if I show up late. I opened the door and looked around to see a tropical paradise. What the hell! Where am I?!
"Welcome!~"
"Nope, we're going Haruhi, this must be the wrong place. I started to walk out the room with Haruhi still cradled in my hands.
"When Karima opened the door, the whole place was decked out like a tropical paradise. Can you see this from heaven mom? This was the club I was forced to join." Haruhi grumbled. I pretended to not recognize the place.
"You finally made it Haruhi and Karima. You're so late." the Twins said.
"Oh, so this is the right place after all." I set Haruhi back on her feet.
"WHY WERE YOU CARRYING MY DAUGHTER??!!"
"Your daughter? What am I then?" I asked calmly.
"You're the neighbour!" he yelled
"Oh, okay, by the way, I'M NOT A LESBIAN, YOU LOSER!" I shouted at him. He went and huddled sadly in a corner while the twins snickered.
"Good one, Karima!" they grinned mischievously.
"I could be wrong, but my calendar says it's still early spring." Haruhi muttered, checking a calendar and acting as if the conversation between Tamaki and I hadn't happened.
Tamaki perked up again. "Huddling over a kotatsu table fearing the cold is nonsense. Besides, the heating system we have is the best!" He stated, sparkles and roses appearing behind him.
An evil aura surrounded me and I glared sending Tamaki back to his emo corner.
"Ugh." Haruhi complained.
"Do you have a problem with the way we run our club Haruhi? Be careful what you say. You owe us eight million yen, remember?"
Haruhi gasped, probably remembering the vase falling onto the floor.
"I have a problem, and I would leave right now if it weren't for the fact that I want to help Haruhi pay back the debt.
"Gentlemen don't bundle up in bulky clothing. It may be chilly early spring out there in the real world, but here at the club we want to surprise our chilly little kittens with a warm tropical paradise. Oh, yes! We've turned this place into nirvana. A balmy tropical island of ever lasting summer!"
"That's funny, because I feel a massive chill right now."
"Yeah, this heating system must be faulty." I glared at Tamaki, and he stopped putting his arm around Haruhi and went to his emo corner. I smirked as I heard the twins laugh.
"What heartlessness! Even with my lustrous skin, shining like brilliant ivory, exposed by my Balinese King outfit, I'm no more than a slave before my goddess, I kneel before you swearing my loyalty." Tamaki flirted with another girl.
"Tamaki..." the girl mumured with hearts in her eyes.
"Lucky!" another one fangirled.
"Oh, wow!" I heard a squeal.
"Oh, yes. I almost forgot to mention to you ladies, next week the Ouran Host Club is sponsoring a party." Tamaki said suddenly.
"We're throwing a party?" Haruhi looked at me.
"I hate parties." I glared at Tamaki.
"What kind of party is it going to be? Is it going to be formal?" a girl asked.
"Yes. In fact, we've rented the schools largest hall." Hikaru said.
"It's the perfect place for dancing." Kaoru added. Suddenly, the twins got really close to each other.
"But I really wanted to spend some alone time with you, Kaoru." Hikaru said smoothly, stroking his twin's cheek. I gagged.
"Don't be upset Hikaru. I know exactly how you feel." Kaoru murmured back, putting his forehead on his brother's. I grimaced when I heard more fangirl screaming.
"The guests seem even more worked up than they usually are." Haruhi commented.
"Yeah, they seem ten times more insane than usual. Wait, are Haruhi and I the only sane people in the school?"
"Showing some skin is popular with the ladies." Kyoya ignored my my question.
"So, are you the one with this tropical paradise idea??
"I have no decision making authority. All of the club policies are laid out by the clubs king, Tamaki." But, I guess there's no harm in admitting to casually slipping a Bali photo book onto his desk.
"I saw Kyoya carrying a bali photo book the other day. Now that I recall that, I am really not surprised the theme is like this." I gestured at the surroundings.
"Yes, well, I guess there's no harm in admitting to casually slipping a bali photo book onto his desk." Kyoya smirked and I rolled my eyes.
So he's the real brains behind the operation. I am not surprised though. Tamaki isn't the kind of person to do this kind of thing without some help.
"Ta-da!" I saw Honey put on a necklace of Balinese flowers.
"Aw! You're so cute Honey!" I heard a girl squeal.
"Hi, ladies!" Honey greeted. "I love these Balinese flowers. We had them flown in. Takashi!" Honey climbed up Takashi and put a necklace of Balinese flowers on him. "There! We match!"
I snickered at the fact that Takashi could remain silent and expressionless even after that.
"They're covered in camellias!" a girl commented happily.
"I'm still thoroughly confused by the two of them." Haruhi stated.
"Um, Karima, Haruhi...aren't you going to wear a tropical outfit like the other boys?" one of our customers, Kimiko, asked.
"I'd like to see that." another girl said.
"Those outfits are lame, I think my look is better, don't you agree?" I rested my hands on her waist and got her up, then spun her around. "Would like to see me in something that looks like this but way classier at the party?" I lead her in a waltz, then picked her up and put her back on her seat.
"Yes, it would be lovely to see you in something like that at the party! Sooo dreamy!!" she fangirled, hearts in her eyes. The other Hosts looked at me but then looked away when I glared.
"Then why don't you have a Balinese outfit on?" a girl asked Haruhi.
"Oh-uh-well-I-I just don't think it's appropriate to wear anything but early-spring attire in early-spring, you know?" Haruhi, what a poor excuse.
"But we have one ready for you Haruhi. I think you'll like it. You and I are a pair." Tamaki said.
"No thanks." Haruhi deadpanned.
Kimiko - Wow, Haruhi. You are really faithful to the different seasons, aren't you?
While Haruhi talked to the guests, I taunted Tamaki. "Hey, Tamaki," I said, loud enough to catch the attention of the twins. They looked at me and I winked. "It says gullible on the ceiling." I pointed up. He looked up.
"Ha ha! Stole your necklace!" I laughed with the twins and ran around the table teasing Tamaki.
"Excuse me, I don't mean to interrupt, but I believe it's time for the Hosts to switch clients." a girl who I think was called Kanako said.
"Oh, I'm sorry. You must be my next appointment." Haruhi said.
"Apologies for 'at." I said with an English accent which I only use in front of my customers. "I'm Karima Juiri." I smiled at her.
"My name is Kanako. Kanako Kasugasaki. You're even cuter than I expected. I've decided. From now on you're going to be my new favorite hosts, Karima and Haruhi."
