You were lying in bed listening to music to try to get yourself to sleep, it was around 9:30pm, it had been a long day and you were waiting for Josh to come to bed so you could cuddle with him.

You felt Josh sit beside you and you opened you eyes. Instead of kissing you he sat down and sighed. He looked upset, head in his hands, shoulders hunched over. You took your ear phones out and crawled by his side.

"Josh are you alright?" You ask putting an arm around him, rubbing his shoulder soothingly

"Yeah yeah I'm fine" he says quietly

"Babe look at me" you tilt his face towards you with your other hand so he was looking at you

His eyes were red from crying

"Oh god y/n Im lying im so very far from fine" tears start to roll down his cheeks, you bring him into a tight hug and he cries into your shoulder, slowly soaking it with salted tears.

"Aww baby" you sigh, running your hand through his blue hair "you can cry as much as you need, it's alright, do you wanna talk about it?"

He shakes his head into your shoulder "not now"

"I understand" you kiss his hair "we can talk later, I love you"

"I-I love you too"

He cries for 10 minutes before he starts to calm down. He sits up properly and you wipe his remaining tears away gently with the pad of your thumb

"S-sorry babe" he whispers

"It's alright" you cup his jaw and caress his cheek, he half smiles and puts his hand on your thigh, drawing soft circles, you giggle

"Thank you beautiful" he leans in and kisses you slowly

"Did you wanna talk about it now?" You ask

"I don't know how to say it"

"Oh uh I'll try to help you out here, um is it your family?" You ask

"N-no"

"Friends?" He shakes his head "hmm, uh, is...is it-"

"My conscience is just making me feel terrible. Like about how I used to be...and...and how I'm just...just not good enough for anyone and I'm always having anxiety" he sighs

"Aww Josh" you wrap your arms around him and sigh "You are perfectly fine just the way you are. You are good enough. I love you. I fell in love with you just the way you are, and that's good enough for me. You're good enough for me. I think you're great. I think you're simply the best. What about Tyler? He thinks you're amazing. You're his best friend, you're good enough for him. Your family. They all love you and think that your alright. Yeah the past might not be able to be changed but right now...right now you're surrounded by people who love you and care about you, and the only thing that matters is right now. Josh, I love you more than anything. I love you so much, and I've never been more in love in my life-"

"I'm gonna start crying again aww" he kisses your cheek "I am so glad I've got you. You always know what to say and do to make someone happy, its a gift. Babe I am so in love with you. So damn in love."

"You know what would make everything better?" You ask

"yeah, uh sex duh" He smiles and kisses your neck
