3 years later

Hey Ryan guess what?!" You say running up to your boyfriend. He wraps his arms around you and kisses you

"What?"

"You're my date for prom!"

"Obviously" he chuckles

"Are we going to do a matching thing or just do whatever?"

"Whatever you want baby, you're gonna look hot in everything

You blush "so are you you cutie, I think I might have an idea so yeah"

"What is it?"

"Sun and the moon vibes or light and dark, you can have a white or gray or silver tux and i can have a yellow or orange dress thing."

"That... will be hot" he says with a smile

"Well I gotta head off to class so see you in math after?"

"You can count on it"

You kiss him and make your way up the hall when you get tripped by some popular plastic bitch

"Fuck you" you yell out at her

"Whatever loser" she flicks her hair over her shoulder

"Babe you okay?" Ryan asks holding his hand out for you, you accept it

"Yeah" you shrug

"Fucking bitches" he spits

"We're gonna get bullied until we leave school arent we?" You sigh

"It's only a couple of months, we can stick this out, just like we away have" he smiles

Graduation day/night (plz dont actually hit me for the time skip)

This is it. Possibly the biggest and best night of your life. Graduation. You were finally going to leave a place that gave you hell for so many years and get out into the world and try to make a name for yourself

"Ryan" you say

"Yeah baby?"

"The last day of this place"

"Last day of high school hoes"

"Of backstabbing bitches and jerky jocks"

"In full honesty, I'm going to miss this place, as much hell as we got there are some pretty great memories here" you sigh

"Yeah, like when we first like met, and when we first kissed-" he says kissing you

"God I don't think either of us would've kissed each other if Spencer didn't dare us to"

"Best dare ever amirite" he chuckles

"Definitely"

"Now let's go to our graduation assembly"

Hey look another fuhkin time skip let's go to Grad Night party (is that even a thing)

You and Ryan were invited to a party that night to celebrate.  It was your first real party.

"You look lovely" ryan says to you

"You look even better" you smile

"Oh, this old thing?!" He chuckles

"Too cute babe, too cute"

"Hey Ryan, Y/N!" Your friend Spencer calls out as you approach the loud music and party

"Hey Spence!" You say,  giving him a hug

"Thought you guys would never show up!"

"Well we're here" Ryan laughs

"Is Sarah here?" You ask

"Yeah, she was making out with Brendon last I saw her,  uh try the loungeroom" Spencer tells you

"Thanks Spence, see you guys in a bit" you give Ryan a kiss on the cheek and leave

"Spencer" Ryan says

"What?"

"I'm going to marry that girl"

LATER GOD DAMN TIME SKIP

It's been a couple of hours, and it was getting late, 10:30ish, and the party was starting to die, that's when Ryan asks to take the mic off the low paying DJ for a minute

"Hey guys" he says

You hear his voice and make your way to where he was

"I have something very important I wanna say"

"Yeah Ry!" Someone calls out

"So as you all know I've been with y/n for five years now-"

"You guys were the only couple that stayed together for more than a week!" Pete calls out, you go stand next to him

Ryan laughs "and that's crazy right! Devoting 5 years to someone"

"Is this a breakup?" Someone else calls out. You roll your eyes and Ryan continues

"We've all been through school together... most of you hated me and y/n for a while, but I feel most of us are in good terms now and that why i feel that i should share this moment with all of you. Y/N where you at babe?" He asks

You put your hand up and make your way a bit closer to him, he pulls you close to him. "Five years of you being my girl. Five years of me being able to call the loveliest sweetheart my own, and now i5m telling the haters to get fucked i guess the best way I know how... also I had a bit to drink and I feel really confident right now"  He says with a goody smile as he pulls a box out of his pocket

You gasp, as well as most of the party

"YeaH RyaN!!" Pete calls out again. You chuckle

"Y/n I wrote you a few songs and but they never could tell you how much I love you and how much you mean to me, you are my everything" he says kneeling infront of you "and I know we're still young but I know that I am ready to spend every day with you. Y/n will you marry me?"

You felt tears in your eyes as you nodded and whispered "yes" Everyone cheers as he stands up, you bring him into a tight hug, he pulls away and slips the ring on your finger. He then kisses you.

"I love you" he says

"I love you too Ryan"

The DJ gets the mic back and says "To the fresh fiancées in the room, this ones for you!"

He plays Your Graduation by State Champs (I know this song didn't exist in AFYCSO era but hey good song??) And the party is alive again.
