The Shining
June 13th, 1980
» A man, his son, and wife become the winter caretakers of an isolated hotel. The son, named Danny, begins seeing disturbing visions of the hotel's past using a telepathic gift known as "The Shining". The father, Jack Torrance, is working hard on a writing project but begins to slip into insanity as a result of cabin fever and former guests and new spirits. Later, Jack is convinced by a waiter's ghost to "correct" his family. Making Jack go completely insane. The only thing that can save Danny and his mom is the power of "The Shining". «
