» Carrie White is a shy, friendless and isolated 17 year old girl. Her isolated behavior is mainly due to her religious and protective mother. After having a terrible reaction to having her first period, she is teased by a group of girls. While one girl decides to take pity on Carrie, the others don't and plan to ruin her prom experience. This leads to Carrie use telekinetic powers as revenge for their cruelty. «
