This story takes place when it all started.

But the books never happened.

Valentine didn't rise, Clary found the Shadowhunters on her own and she met Jace and Simon fell in love with Izzy and that was that.

Now its a couple of years later and unfortunately the Lightwood family was accused of a mysterious crime they did not commit leading to their fall. They were disgraced from Shadowhunters and Maryse and Robert were stripped off their runes and banished.

Now its just Alec, Izzy and Max, still Shadowhunters but treated worse than mundanes with very few friends. Homeless and with barely any resources they start a new life.

But Alec must keep their family together and prove his parents innocent.
