Kai runs to the door of the Antique Shop.
"Mano!" He says running in.
"Kai! Get to Nora's!" He says
"Nora's?! Why?!" He says out of breath.
"Just go!"
-------------------
Kai walks up to the door of my apartment but finds it open with cops inside.
"Please find Nora!" Says my mom.
My dad sees Kai and walks into the hall.
"Kai what are you doing here?" He asks.
"Where's Nora?" Kai asks.
My dad has dried tears on his face, "She's been kidnapped."
Kai starts to tear up, "Its my fault."
"Kai it's not." Says my dad.
"I should've been watching her!" He yells.
"Kai please." Says my dad.
Kai runs down the hall and disappears.
-------------------
I sit in the room.
"What about my Aunt...." I say to myself.
Why would Peter hate my Aunt or my dad??
I look around the room and see lots of pieces of jewelry. Headbands, bracelets, rings, necklaces, earrings, piercings, and chains.
I step up to one and pick it up.
"It's so beautiful...." I say to myself.
A ring with light blue lines going through it.
"It looks like..." I say but stop.
All the memories of seeing pictures of my aunt come back to my head.
Her ring! She wore this! But how did Peter get it!
The door slams open, "Put that down!"
I turn and see Peter coming up to me and snatching the ring out of my hand.
"Where did you get that!" I yell at him.
"None of your concern." He says pushing me out of the room.
"Where did you get it!!" I yell.
He comes out and smacks me.
"I said none of your concern!"
-----
Kai sits on the roof with Mano.
"Who took Nora." He says.
Mano sighs, "I should tell you something."
"What is it?" Kai asks.
"It's happens years before you and Nora were born."
-----
"Tiffany!" Mano yells.
She lays on the ground. Mano growls and turns human.
"Mano!" Mano hears.
He turns to throw a spear into the man before he runs off. He then turns back to Tiffany who's screaming in pain.
"Mano! Help!" She yells.
Mano turns back to cat form and runs over to Tiffany.
"Tiffany it's ok!" He says.
He looks at her and notices a big bloody hole in her chest.
"Mano...." She says.
"Just look at the sky dear." Mano says curling up around her. "Look at the sky."
She looks up and her eyes shine from the sun light.
"Tell Timothy I...." She begins to say.
"What is it dear?" Mano says with tears in his eyes.
"I'm sorry......" Tiffany says with her last breath.
Her head falls to the side with her eyes still looking at the sky.
Mano cries out.
"I'm sorry Tiffany! I should've been there for you!" Timothy's voice echoes in Mano's head.
He hears all the cries and pain Timothy will go through once he hears about Tiffany.
"I'm sorry..." Says Mano.
He slips her ring off.
"I'm sorry my dear... you were to young and beautiful." He says.
Rain begins to fall and her clothes begin to stick to her.
Mano watches under a trash can as police find her body after he came back from giving Timothy her ring.
"Poor girl..." Says the cop.
"But who would murder a girl like this?" Says the other one.
Mano curls up in a ball.
Mano begins to cry out in his head.
I can't do this. I can't keep putting children in danger... and losing them. I can't watch them return home to their family which is dead or they are once they return. I can't I need to fix this...
----
Kai sits with Mano.
"So... Nora's aunt was murdered?" Asks Kai.
"Yes..." Mano says.
"But by who?" Says Kai.
"Her uncle."
Kai looks at him, "Why her uncle!?"
"He was selfish... you see he met me and knew I was looking for a hero. I gave her father and aunt the spots and he was angry. He stole a charm from the shop and found her later on. He hasn't been seen since but I know that now he has come back and he's the one who took Nora." Says Mano.
"Oh..." Says Kai.
"We need to get her soon, before it's too late...." Says Mano.
"Then let's go." Says Kai.
"It's not going to be that easy." Says Mano.
-----
"I need to..." I begin to say.
The door of my room opens and someone comes in. A man grabs my arm and pulls me into a hallway. My room looked like I was in a house but these halls look like and office building.
I hear people's voices and we pass a room with people on computers and people playing with experiments.
I look at all them.
That's not good at all.
I feel a tug and I'm pulled into a room and thrown on the floor.
I look up to see the door close.
I stand up and look around to see it's an empty room. But one corner is pure darkness.
A figure moves.
"Welcome.."
