I stood there frozen. Frozen with fear. Frozen with disbelief. Frozen because it shouldn't have been her who got  hurt with the bullet but I would happily switch places with her.

I was brought back to reality by the sounds of Delila groaning and trying to get up. I know that I should've carried Delila to get help but I thought revenge was the best idea at the time.

I looked at them with glowing eyes. They threatened to shoot again but this time I didn't care and I didn't have second thoughts. I killed them.

I mean, they were going to kill us anyways...I just got the bait on the hook first. I grabbed Delila in my hands and ran, following the trial we came from to the campsite.

Everyone saw me running and crying. They didn't know what to do. They followed me trying to show me that they cared and wanted to help, but they couldn't help.

I brought her to the medical, hopefully this medical staff is trained because this is serious. You can tell Delila was trying to speak but nothing could come out.

They asked me to step out of the tent. Nervously I stepped out and waited, no matter how long It would take. Suddenly the captain called me into his quarters.

Basically the biggest tent was his. I stepped in. "Kali.....we been here for a day and a half so far....and When I sent you and Delila out, she gets shot and you bring nothing to contribute to the gathering"the captain said.

"I beg to differ, I brought this" I said holding the yellow thing I found. "Kali, that is not enough for us. However, you are fairly lucky that the other teams brought a wonderful amount of food...now im sorry about Delila.

Tell me what happened" he said trying to care..but failing to care.

"We saw this yard, in front of a shelter. We saw animals and things we could use, before we finished taking, two humans stepped out and filmed us. Then they shot delila..saying the government wants us dead".

The captain was startled by these words..and he never usually gets startled. "Here is the things I need you to do" he said folding his hands and placing them on his mini desk.

"Go to the yard, destroy what they used to film" he finished. "Okay" I said and started to walk back to the yard. When I got there I didn't really know what to do with it so I stepped on it repeatedly and threw it into the lake.

I went back to the medical tent after two hours to check on Delila. The nurse stepped out and looked at me. "She'll be fine. She just needs rest and she will be good, luckily it wasn't severe damage".

I decided not to bother her, but her...in pain. It bothers me. The captain blew the Shangler and everyone including me gathered around him. "Okay, your first mission will begin now. There are a few houses down the road to the left.

Those houses contain humans. Your job is to kill them. Go now!" he said. All of us, with our armor on went towards the house. We busted the doors down and split up. Each house, five people went in to kill.

When my team and I went in we saw a family afraid, in the dining room. A mother, a grandmother, and two kids. The family screamed with true fear when the whole team lifted their guns at them.

The whole team, except for me. "Kali." Oscar said to me motioning for me to pick up the gun. "I can't" I said looking at them knowing exactly what they felt.

"Stop being a softie, you know why we got to do this. They hate us. Humans want to kill us" Oscar said still pointing the gun at them with a tooth pick in his mouth. "Now we don't hate you, we want you to live..we want to live. Please, please spare us"

The mother said holding the two kids tightly, knowing that this may be their last moments together. "Liars!" Vanessa said and shot the mother instantly.

Vanessa was angry...and it wasn't because they were humans. Her mother never loved her, so she gets extremely angry when she sees mothers who love their children.

The children and grandmother screamed and starting crying. I couldn't stand this sight. The rest of the team couldn't stand it either, I can tell.

But they tried to act like they didn't mind. Oscar then looked at me. "Shot the kids. Or else I'll tell captain you did not take part in the mission".

I gave him a hateful look.

"I'm not shooting the children" I said. "Then shoot that old woman" he said. "No" I said. "It's either the kids or the grandma" he said. After five minutes I pointed at the grandma.

He nodded then told me to hurry up with it. I closed my eyes and thought for a second.

I slowly forced my finger to the trigger....then hesitantly shot.

I heard the last scream of the grandmother and the fear of the two kids now alone.

I felt like a monster. I know I just killed two people by the yard...but that was for a reason. This family didn't do anything. I ran out of the house and waited in the front for the team.

I just couldn't stay in there. After two minutes, I heard two more shots...and that made me feel horrible . They stepped out.

"Softie" Oscar said. "Shut the hell up, you have no heart" I said as the whole team including I started to walk. When we reached to the tents, we saw a bunch of Zectromian soldiers surrounding the main tent. As we got closer, we noticed a human in camouflage was there talking to the captain.

"You have killed our people. Now prepare for war. I will give you some time to prepare and we will get some time to prepare, but this means war" the human soldier said.

The captain looked to us for a second, searching for our agreement. Everyone nodded and the captain turned back to the human.

"Deal"

Suddenly I heard Someone screaming "help!" from the medical room. I quickly rushed to the room, tears were flowing out of my eyes,

what's going on??
