"Hello?" Someone asked me down the phone. It was a women's voice and she sounded really angry. "Hello Francesca here." I groaned waiting for her to carry on. "Hello, I was wondering if you wouldn't mind doing an interview with my company. It would be great to hear your side of the story." I hesitated for a moment and then sighed. What had I got to loose? "Okay." We arranged a time and date  and then put the phone down.

I quickly got dressed and then went to meet the man interviewing me. He had long brown hair which reminded me of Derek, his eyes were bright blue like the sky and he was wearing a black veil brides shirt. I smiled as he hugged me gently and then sat down next to him. "Hi I am Mathew. I interview bands and post them onto YouTube. I basically just want to know your opinion on the situation about you and Derek." I nodded and watched as his crew started to set up the camera.

Matt - Hi guys it's Matt here with the one person who has called controversy all over the world at the moment. Francesca!

Me - Hi guys! Hi Matt.

Matt - So would you mind telling me, how was your experience in Warped Tour?

Me- Warped Tour was one of the most amazing experiences of my life, I met so many new people and got to do things I would never imagine myself doing.

Matt - Can we expect anymore of your band? CDs, tours etc?

Me - Yes you can expect much more of Deafening Silence, we are going to start recording a new album as soon as possible and hopefully after that we will be doing a tour.

Matt - That's great news, I'm sure everybody will be excited to hear about that. Now I am extremely sorry to bring the awkwardness up but what actually happened between Derek and you?

Me - Okay, I don't like to talk about it but what happened was an accident. We were just friends and as we came off stage things got a bit out of hand and his girl friend turned up. To be honest I didn't even know he was in a relationship or had a child.

Matt - You like him don't you? I can see it in your eyes.

Me - I don't know, anyway back to the interview.

Matt - Yeah that's it. Bye guys.

We hugged each other goodbye and then just as I was walking out he dragged me back in. "Fran, can we go for a coffee?" I nodded and followed him to a Starbucks round the corner. We sat down in silence not saying anything to each other. I was confused as to why he wanted to talk to me.

"Fran, you do like Derek don't you?" I looked into his sincere eyes and sighed. "Urm, I don't know." I didn't know how to reply.  I weren't sure if I liked Derek or not, he was gorgeous and sincere and kind and loving, he cared for his family and was a great family man, I wanted him to care for me the same way he cared for her.

"Fran?" He asked slowly taking my hand. "Yes I care for him. I want him to care for me the way he looks after and cares for his family. I want to be his family but I am not going to be anymore of a home wrecker then I already have been."

"I know he likes you the same way but wont admit it because of his wife." He took me by surprise and I hesitated for a moment.  "You sure?" I asked and he nodded. "I had an interview with him yesterday and his eyes lit up whenever we spoke about you, he looked smitten. I have never seen him speak about someone that way before even his girlfriend." My heart did loads of little summersaults as I smiled to myself. "Go home girl, try to get in touch with him. Also can I have your number and we can have an interview with the band." I nodded and handed him my number and then drove home.

Hey it's Derek's phone, leave a message after the beep.

"Urm Hi, Derek I think we need to talk, can you maybe call me back?" I cringed as I listened to my own voice and realised how needy and upset i sounded but sent it anyway.

I couldn't sleep, it was 12pm. The rain was hammering down outside and there was the odd strike of lightening. The door knocked slightly and i jumped out of my skin. I quickly stuck on some pyjamas and ran to the door. It swung open and i looked at the soaking wet man standing in front of me.

"So... we need to talk." Derek said.
