  "What did he say?" Darcie asked Sky. "Who? Derrick?" She said. "No duh." Darcie replied. "He was kinda sad. Nigga looked depressed but then he was like super mad. He had came to me asking don't you like him and Shit." Sky grumbled. "What did you say?" Darcie asked grabbing her arm. "I told him you did like him. Then he was like why did she throw it away then? So I said nigga ion know and ion really care. Then he told me he was going to ask you out but he doesn't want to do it here. Something about too many witnesses. I'm telling you something wrong with that nigga!" She explained. "Too many witnesses?" Darcie asked. "If I were you I wouldn't go out with him." Sky commented. "Why shouldn't I?" Darcie said. "Because he's Derrick!" Sky snapped.

   "And..." Darcie urged throwing her hands in the air. "To start with that nigga super nasty. Last year he always smacked your ass remember." Sky said. "But I let him so that doesn't count," Darcie replied. " Something wrong with you too. Anyway he had that little clique except Thomas he's really cute. He thinks every girl is after him. I'm like boy please. Nobody want yo ass. So swerve nigga! He makes me, you, Ashley, Sandra and Kim so mad all the time. He's always begging to be slapped in the face. You want me to continue?" Sky finished.

  "Ok, damn I know he has his flaws," Darcie looked down at the drawing again. "But you still have to consider the good parts he has." Darcie said.

  "Oh like what?" Sky arched her eyebrows. Darcie searched her mind for things to say. "Well he's super cute" she finally said.

  "Correction hes cute to you to everyone else he ass ugly. "

  "He's nice." Darcie said. "Only to you," Sky corrected. "Well there's just something about him that I've come to love!" Darcie exclaimed.

    "Whatever I honestly don't care about yall. You can be a lovesick. puppy but don't come crying to me if he breaks your heart." Sky said. "He won't, I know him.He wouldn't do that." Darcie said. "I hope"

  When Darcie got to class she showed get bestfriend Ashley what Derrick had drew for her. "He gave you that!" Ashley exclaimed. " Not really he gave it to Sky to give to me." Darcie explained." Then how do you know he truly likes you. I think if a boy really likes a girl. If they're going out or not. He had to be able to give you something like that face to face. You know what I mean?" Ashley explained. "I'll take what I can get. Until now he hasn't shown any signs of liking me back like I like him. Anyway I love him and I'm pretty sure he loves me too!" Darcie said weakly.

  "Are you sure about that? Love is strong word Darcie. Don't think like your did last time. Now that was a disaster!" Ashley added. "I know, I know but I really really do think he feels it like I do. I really want to be with him. Yeah I know it won't be forever but just now. I just want him with me." Darcie said.

  The bell rang for class to start. "Follow your heart Darcie" was the only thing Ashley could say to her.

   She didn't want them to be together. Not that she was hating or anything but she didn't really want them together due to Derricks history and reputation. He was know as a player to all the girls. Yet Darcie had still found another way to move around that and fall in love with him. Ashley didn't want Darcie to get hurt especially by Derrick. That would start a whole new war with him and her. They already didn't get along. Ashley knew she would have to face it. Its what Darcie wanted. It wasn't her place to tell Darcie who to 'love'. They were basically sisters so she knew she would have to support Darcies choices even if she didn't like them.

  "I hope its right this time," Darcie said as Ashley walked to her seat and she did too.

  It was around P.E. time; it was walking day so Darcie had a chance to ask Derrick about the drawing. Darcie didn't want to come off as desperate tho. She asked Ashley to ask him for her, it was an immediate NO! If she asked Sky, she would blow it out of proportion. She asked Marceline to ask him instead. Her being her nosy tell happily said yes. She was one of those type girls that's wants to know everyones drama all the time.
