Chapter 14

Joker P.O.V.

(Y/N):"I lost my appetite, & I'm tired, night." She got up & left.

I felt ashamed. I just...I think my life matters. I my story doesn't matter. & I didn't want tell her. Or maybe I did I just didn't know where to start or or maybe I'm not very open about myself. I like to keep everything to myself. I don't know but I was very tired.

I got up and turned off the lights & walked to Mya's room. I slowly open the door & I saw my baby girl sleeping. My heart warms up every time I look at her. She my everything, my angel, my world. I love her so much. & I promise myself I will be a good father. So that's why I tried to stay away from trouble. I lay next to her & stroke her hair.

Joker:"Hey little angel, I just came by to tell you...I love you. And I want to let you know that I'm not a perfect father, but I will try my best to protect you, to make sure your good & to care for you. I'm so proud of you princess, & even though, mom-mommy isn't here...ill do my best to take good care of you..." my voice cracked when I said 'mommy' I decided tomorrow I will have a talk with Mya. She's going to have to know the truth. & know that it will hurt me once she finds out. I'm just sick and tired of her asking where her mom is, I'm sick & tired of telling her all these lies. I'm just sick of it all. & I'm scared that I might fail as a father. I want what's best for her.

After a good moment of getting deep in my thoughts, I got up & kissed her forehead. I made my way to the basement just to check if (Y/N) was there. I took a quick look because Iwas just very tired. I saw her bundle up in the cozy blanket. I left and got in my room. I changed into my sweatpants & didn't put a shirt on. I fell onto my bed, feeling so relax. I cover myself & drifted off to sleep.

3am

???:"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

My eyes shot wide open. I quickly got out of bed I stumble onto furnitures. The yelling was coming from the basement. I ran downstairs & saw (Y/N) in the corner of the cage, covering her ears & yelling. I stood there for a couple of minutes.

(Y/N): " LEAVE ME ALONE!!" She cried.

I couldn't stand it any longer I quickly open the cage & ran into her. At first she punched my chest. Which made a little mad, but I eventually got her to stop. I stroked her hair & made a "shh" sound, to calm her. She slowly stopped crying & hugged me very tight. So many questions ran through my head. I wanted to ask her but right now wasn't a good moment.

Joker:"Hey, hey, hey....(Y/N)...your ok honey." I grabbed her by the face making her look at me. She looked at me weird, I realized that I called her honey. I was a lil embarrassed but it didn't really bothered me. We both took a good moment to look at each other. She then hugged me back very tightly. I hugged her, & rubbed her back.

Your P.O.V

*Nightmare*
I was running for my life through the woods, late at night. A drunk perverted guy was chasing me. I was scared to death.
(Y/N): "Not again, please!" You cried
Suddenly, it started to rain really hard. I was still running, until I tripped on a branch. Little did I know that he saw me & ran my way. I quickly got up ran behind a tree hoping he didn't see me. I look back just to check, then I look to the front & felt someone grabbing me. Just when he grabbed me a lightning strikes. I see him hold up a batman boomerang.
*End of Nightmare*
(Y/N):" NOOOOO PLEASE, DONT TOUCH ME! AHHHHHHHHHHH!!" I screamed, I realized I was on the floor. I scoot to the corner of the cage & covered me ears.
(Y/N):"PLEASE....LEAVE ME ALONE!" I cried. I hear someone coming towards me, I fight back & then I realize it was Joker. He pulled me toward his chest & calmed me down. I hugged him & slowly stopped crying. I felt safe in arms. I didn't want this to ever end.
Joker:"hey, hey, hey...(Y/N)...you ok honey. " he grabbed my face while saying that. I looked at him confused, but I didn't bother. We got lost into each others eyes. It's like...I felt something but...I don't know. I hugged him very tightly, he hugged me back & rubbed my back. He did a circular motion on my back, instantly fell asleep.

Joker P.O.V

I rubbed (Y/N) back for awhile until she fell asleep. I carefully placed her on the swing & made sure the blanket covered her, so she wouldn't fall. I carefully closed the cage so I could avoid waking her up. I made my way up stairs & see Marcela standing with her arms crossed. I really hated her.

Marcel:"What happened!" She looked at me with wide eyes & her arms open.
Joker:" Nothing" I walked off & walked up the main stairs.
Marcela:" Those screams! And your telling that, that's nothing?" She looked at me very irritated.
Joker:"Yea" I reached the top of the stairs.
Marcela:" I don't want her here! " she was talking about (Y/N). I stopped & turn around her & gave her a death stared.
Joker:"(Y/N) is going to stay here wether you like it or not! This is my house & I'm only letting you stay so you can be with you grandchild! But if you don't enjoy living here THEN LEAVE!" I yelled across the room.
Joker:"Goodnight!" & with that I left. Once I got to my room & fell on to my bed. I was trying to sleep but therE was one thing bugging me. What did (Y/N) dreamed of?
