It Was You! (Joker x Reader)

Chapter 34

Joker P.O.V. (whoop whoop! :)) )

Days pass and Mya still hasn't talked to me. I blame everything on me. I knew I should of told her before, but it was so hard. I didn't want to see my princess cry...

I woke early in the morning to organize my schedule and some other plans. As time passed by, I took a look at my watch. 9:24 am. Mya must be awake. I stood up from my desk, and made my way towards Mya's room. Once I was in front of her door, I took a deep breath and twist the knob as I gently push the door in. My eyes immediately fell on her, once I was in her room. I walked up to her and carefully by not waking her up, I at on the edge of her bed. I watched her tiny body, inhale and exhale at the rhythm of her breathing. I took a closer look and saw she was holding something in her tiny arms. I gently removed her arm away, and saw she was holding a picture frame of our family. My eyes flickered back at Mya. I saw her twist and squirm around, signalling she was waking up. She finally flutter her eyes open and then glanced at me.

Joker:"Good morning, sunshine" i sweetly smiled at her. Hoping she would at least respond.

She didn't say anything back, she just stared back. My smiled slowly faded away. Maybe it was still too soon. I look away and thought for a minute. I slowly got up, but something pulled me back down. I then was tackled by Mya, her tiny arms wrapped around my neck. Without thinking, I hugged her back. I kiss her cheek and place my head in the crook of her neck. 

Mya:"I'm sorry" she cried.

Joker:"Shhhh" I stroked her blonde hair.

Joker:"I love you no matter what" I whispered

Mya:"Me too" she said as she let go of my neck and looked at me.

After having a father and daughter moment, we somehow ended up talking about (Y/N), while we laid in bed.

Mya:"I miss her" she pouted.

Joker:"You like her, don't you?" I glanced at her.

Mya:"Yea, she seems really nice and she's very pretty" she smiled as she looked back at me.

I return a sweet smiled and face the ceiling once again. I began to zone out and thought about Stephanie and (Y/N). Do I really want to marry, Stephanie?  I thought. I don't even know I even got engage. Stephanie is beautiful, but she can sometimes be annoying. Well, very annoying. She always talks about money, jewelry, shoes, etc. She also is very seductive, which doesn't bother me that much. Only that she is making herself look desperate. I don't like girls who are easy to get too. I always like a challenge, like (Y/N).

(Y/N) is very hard to get too. Something I love about her. I love how when ever I get close to her, she tries everything to avoid me, which is funny. I remember the few times, I was so close to kiss her, but left me hanging. Though, (Y/N) is a very mysterious person. She hides so many things, behind those (e/c) eyes. I'm still trying to figure out what she is mostly terrified of. I'm dying to know what happened in her dreams. 

Mya:"Daddy?" she question

My thoughts snapped and had full on attention on Mya, now. I glanced at her and waited for her to speak.

Mya:"If I ever get to have a new mommy, I want (Y/N)" she smiled.

Joker:"Why is that?" I cocked an eyebrow. 

Mya:"Because I know you love her, daddy. And I love her too." she grinned.

I roll over on my side, to see my daughter better. I furrowed my eyebrows ( ha, what eyebrows xD) and looked deep in her crystal blue eyes. Out of anyone in the world, my own daughter can tell I was in love? My 7 year old daughter. I stood in the position I was and though for a moment.

The reason why I avoided (Y/N), was because I felt feelings for her. Something I never felt before, not even with Harley. I wanted to avoid her and not fall for her. That's why I took Stephanie out and tried everything to take my mind off of (Y/N). Though, things got carried away and I think I went a little too far. Everyday my feelings became more stronger for (Y/N) and it got to the point where I needed to see her again. Once I saw her, I felt like everything around me disappear. I felt safe with her, she made everything I worry about, go away. 

Joker:"What if...I married (Y/N), instead of Stephanie?" I said slowly.

Mya:"Are you going to do that?!" She quickly sat up and had a really big smile on her face.

I gave her that 'maybe' look as I holded my hands up and raised my eyebrows.

Mya:"Please, please, please do!!!!" she folded both of her hands and pouted.

Joker:"Ok" I gave up as I smiled.

Mya stood on her feet and happily began to jumped on her bed.

Mya:"MY DAD IS GOING TO MARRY, (Y/N)!!!!!!" she yelled

I chuckle at her cuteness. I then heard a phone ring at the bottom of the stairs. I got up and left, while Mya still continued to celebrate. I walked down the steps and saw my maid peered behind the wall. Once I was on the last steps, she walked over to me and handed me the phone.

Maid:" It's (Y/N)" she whispered

I nodded and waited for her leave. Once she was gone, I place the phone against my ear and spoke in a tough voice.

Joker:"Hello?" I waited

(Y/N):"Joker, it's me...(Y/N)" her sweet voice ranged in my head

A smiled sneaked up on my face, as I gripped the phone a little bit tighter.

Joker:"Can I come by and pick you up?" I said without thinking.

(Y/N):"Yes, please!? I need to get out a while..." she trailed off.

Joker:"I'll see you" I said as I smiled like an idiot.

(Y/N):"Bye" 

I laughed 

Joker:"Byeeeee" I hanged up.

I quickly grabbed my stuff and headed out to see (Y/N).
