It Was You! (Joker x Reader)

Chapter 23

Stephanie:"You guys are only friends right?"

I looked at her & saw she had an exaggerated smile plastered on her face.

(Y/N):"Ye fam, just friends"

Then a lady out of nowhere came out & stood next to Stephanie.

Lady:"Oh, you must be (Y/N)! I'm Monica, Stephanie's aunt"

I smiled & tried to politely as possible. But of course me, I'm from the streets, I have no manners.

(Y/N):"Wassup! Yea that's me, how you doing fam?" I extended my hand out.

She just gave me a disgusted look & looked at Stephanie then back at me.

Monica:"Hmm, no sweetie, that not how you. Has anyone ever educated you?" She nervously laughed.

(Y/N):"Nah, I grew up all on my own." I shove my hands in my pockets.

Stephanie:"that explains a lot.." she mumbled.

(Y/N):"Excuse me?" I took a step towards her.

Just when Stephanie was about to speak, Monica interrupted her.

Monica:"You should go see your room!"

I nodded & picked up my stuff & walked away. They never told me where my room was, but lucky for me I found Mrs.Garcia.

(Y/N):"Mrs. Garcia?" I speed walk, to her.

She looked at me with such a sweet smile.

(Y/N):"can you show me wear my room is? They never really told me where it was.."

Mrs.Garcia:"Of course! Follow me, honey"

My heart warmed up when she called me honey. I sweetly smiled back at her & followed her. We walked through a couple of hallways before we ended up in front of a big door. Mrs.Garcia slowly opens the door for me & let's me in. I look up & admire every little thing about it.

Mrs.Garcia:"I hope you like it" she leaned against the door

(Y/N):"Are you kidding? This is awesome!"

I looked back at & then corrected myself.

(Y/N):"I mean...I love it, thank you!"

She chuckles.

Mrs.Garcia:"Come down in a hour, for dinner."

I nodded, she slowly closed the door & I ran & jumped on the bed. I face the ceiling & place my hands on my head, holding my hair back, midway.

(Y/N):"I'm going to miss you..." I whisper to myself.

I turned to me right side & curled up & started to think about Joker. I missed everything about him. They way he looked at me, the way he cared about me, they way he looked through my eyes & made me feel some type of way, that I have never experienced before. I missed they way he touch my skin, causing me to tremble.

*Flashback*

Joker:"You did an amazing job" he said in a low voice. He hold up the bag & shook it.

I laughed.

(Y/N):"Thanks!"

We were just a few inches away from our faces. I look at his soft blue eyes, starring back at me. Is this actually happening? We started invading eachothers spaces until we were only a few centimeters away from eachother.
But then his phone went off.  He growled & answered.

*End of flashback*

I smiled as I remember the time that we almost kissed. Oh goodness, could I be falling for him?

1 hour later...

Stephanie:"Wake up!!!" She banged on the door

I quickly got up & open the door.

Stephanie:"Dinner time" she rolled her eyes & walked away.

(Y/N):"I'll be there!"

I ran back to get shoes & speed walk to the dinning room. I sit down next to Mrs.Garcia & waited for or meals to arrive. Once they our food came, everyone started talking to each other, as I sat there & devour my food. Hey! You can't judge me, I haven't ate in a long time. I look up & see everyone staring at me. I wiped crumbs off, with the back of my hand & went back to eating.

Monica:"(Y/N)...There's a napkin for you to use it, when you have food all over your face. " she laughed nervously

(Y/N):"Im ok" I look up & smiled at her.

She gave me a disgusted look, but it honestly didn't bother me.

Stephanie:"Mom! Did you know Joker asked me out on a date?" She said in a high pitch voice.

My head shot up immediately & she quickly looked me & back her mom.

Mrs. Garcia:"Really? I didn't know"

Mr.Garcia:"That's amazing sweetie!"

Stephanie:"Yea! & he said he was going to take me somewhere very, very fancy"

Monica:"Joker is so lucky to have someone like you! I hope you guys become a couple soon" she looked at me & back at everyone.

(Y/N):"Must be nice" I mumbled.

Stephanie:"Excuse me?" She shot a look & smiled.

(Y/N):"I said it must be nice! Being with Joker it almost impossible, I mean he's one of the most wanted criminal in the world. I'm so lucky to be working with him!" I smiled at her.

Stephanie:"Oh...well this about me, not you"

Mrs.Garcia:"Stephanie? Be nice to her, it's only her first day here"

Mr.Garcia:"No, she's right. It's about Stephanie, not (Y/N)."

I looked at him & gave him a puzzled look. He looked back ate & gave that 'what are you looking at' face. I slowly turn back & put my head down. I didn't expect any of this to happen...
