It Was You! (Joker x Reader)

Chapter 13

Joker P.O.V.
After working through the whole day, I realize it was midnight. Shit. I forgot about (Y/N). I quickly ran out my office & made my way towards the stairs. & saw her dangle from the swing she made. I watch every tricked she did. I was impressed.  I walked up to her & watched her get down. She looks like an angel.
(Y/N):"Until you finally show up"
Joker:"Forgive me, I was working on a really important mission"
(Y/N):"Sure, now can you give me something to eat ? I haven't ate all day & I'm really hungry!!" She made a really innocent face. Gosh how can you say no to that adorable face. I open the cage & let her out.
Joker:"Stay with me the whole time or there will be consequences" I said whole grabbing her arm. She nodded & made our way to the kitchen.

She sat down & I started cooking for her. I made her some scrabble eggs, bacon, hash browns & I made her some orange juice. Once I was done & I served it to her & watched her devour her meal. I felt guilty, she really has been hungry. I sat down next to her & watched her eat. She suddenly stopped, looked at me & offer me some. I shook my head & chuckle. She's such a child.

Your P.O.V.
I impatiently waited for Joker to make me a meal. I watched how he cooked. I honestly didn't care if the food was going to come out burnt or anything. I will still eat it anyways, I'm that hungry. The air filled with the smell of bacon, my mouth water. I see Joker squeeze the orange juice, I watch how the juice drips from the orange. I can't stand it. If another minute goes by I'll go nuts. After me finding ways how to kill Joker, because he was taking the whole time of the world, he finally servers me my food. I didn't use any of my silverware. I started to dig in my food with no hesitation. I forget all what was happening around me & I realized, the Joker was watching me the whole entire time. I stopped & offer him some. He shook his head & chuckle. I went back & feed myself. This I ate slowly. The air filled with silence. Until Joker broke it.

Joker:"How's Mexico?"
(Y/N):" Good, I guess. It beautiful over there. " I looked at him & smile. He smile back.
Joker:"details please"
(Y/N):" Well, I don't know how to describe how beautiful Mexico is. The culture...it's amazing. I love how they celebrate! & don't get me started with he food, it's deeeeeeeelicious! & the sunsets! It's so beautiful. I remember how I would always visit the beach, everyday & watch the sun go down. How the colors would mix in the sky & create a amazing art." I embarrassed. I never shared so much info with someone.
(Y/N):"Sorry I said too much..." I looked down & rubbed my arm. He grabbed my arm & told me it was ok, I looked at him & nodded.
(Y/N):"Why don't you tell me about yourself?" I was finishing the rest of what was left on the plate. Joker stayed quite for awhile.
Joker:"It doesn't matter..."he mumbled
(Y/N):"it does to me! & since I'm going to work with the most wanted criminal in the world. I would be love to get to know you better. Everyone hears the bad things you do, but they don't see the things you do, or...or that you have a soft sid-"
Joker:"Bullshit! I don't have a soft side & I don't do anything good!" He slammed his fist on the table causing me to jump. I looked at him surprise & he then looked at me with anger. I felt guilty, I just wanted to get to know him better.
(Y/N):"Fine..."I pushed the plate away from me still leaving some left overs.
(Y/N):"I lost my appetite & I'm tired, night" I got up, leaving Joker sitting at the kitchen & made my way to the basement.

I got on the swing & open it so I could lay in it & sleep. I left the swinging drift me off to sleep. I knew I was going to wake up early, so I had to be ready.

Sorry for late updates 🤕 I've been super busy & I have lots & lost of hw & test. So plz bare with me. I'm going to try to post more frequently this week. Anyhoeees vote & comment & let me know what you guys think?!💗 I love everyone one of you puddins. 💚💜🎭
