It Was You! (Joker x Reader)

Chapter 28

I was still in the car with Joker. He would glance at me quite frequently, like he wanted to tell me something. Just as I was in my thoughts, Joker slams the brakes with his foot, causing the wheels shriek, against the road.

Joker:"Why are mad!" he gritted through his teeth, as his eyes filled with anger & a vein popped out of his pale forehead.

(Y/N):"I'm not mad, I'm just annoyed that it now occurred to you to visit me." I looked away.

Joker:"I was busy" he informed

(Y/N):"Busy taking out your slutty, annoying, wannabe, desperate girlfriend of yours" I spat.

We looked at each other in so much anger for a while. But then our expression started to soften.

(Y/N):"I've missed you.." I spoke softly

Joker:"I did too, doll" His hand stroke my chin, sending chills down my spine.

(Y/N):"Are you really going to marry her?" I asked out of nowhere.

The car filled with silence, I was eager to hear his answered.

Joker:"Well...I'm considering it" he leaned back.

I was partly heartbroken & upset, but what can I do? 

(Y/N):"Well...If you guys get married, would you let me move back in with you?" I said hopeful.

Joker:"I'll think about it" he avoided eye contact.

I nodded & faced the front of the car, as Joker began to drive again.

1am

I got back from a party that me & Joker crashed. We killed a few people here & there, we might of also bombed the place, but nothing serious. 

At this point I was snuggled in my warm soft bed. I was falling in to a deep sleep, so deep that I fell into my nightmare.

*Nightmare*

I was running for my life through the woods, late at night. A very scary guy was chasing me. I was scared to death.
(Y/N): "Not again, please!" You cried
Suddenly, it started to pour really hard. I was still running, until I tripped on a branch. He saw me & ran my way. I quickly got up ran behind a tree hoping he didn't see me. I glance back , then faced the front &  saw a huge shadow figure of a tall man grabbing me. He hold up a boomerang shaped as a bat. Just when he grabbed me a lightning strike.

*End of Nightmare*

(Y/N):" No...No" I squirmed around my bed

(Y/N):"NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" I shot up & screamed in fear.

I continuously screamed & cried my heart out. I heard fast footsteps banging on the ground. The door swung open, causing a loud noise, echoing through out my room. The lights switch on, as I shake in fear. I felt someone's arms wrap around my body, I look up to see who it was & it was Cecilia. Her face was full worries, wondering why I was crying.

Cecilia:"Honey what's wrong?" she brought me to her chest & began rocking me.

(Y/N):"I-i-it wa- was a guy! he ch-chased me &-&" I tried my best to explain her but I was slowly losing it.

More tears burst out like the water from the dam, spilling down my cheeks. I feel the muscle of my chin tremble like a small child. There is a static in my head in my head once more, the side of effect of constant fear, constant stress I live with. I hear my own sounds, like a distressed child, raw from the inside.

Cecilia:"Oh my sweet child" she sobbed as her fingers stroked through my hair.

Mr.Garcia:"What the hell is going on?!" He yelled, causing me to jump.

I look up at Cecilia, who turned & looked at her husband.

Cecilia:"She had a nightmare" she informed.

Mr.Garcia:" A nightmare? Seriously!" he taunted

Cecilia:"Behave yourself" she snapped.

I heard him shuffling out the room, through out the hall, until I could no longer hear him. Cecilia looked down at me, making glace up at her.

Cecelia:"I'm sorry" she said in guilt

I shook my head & sniffed. I sat up straight & looked straight at her eyes. I was so exhausted & terrified at the same time. So many things was running around my head, making me feel dizzy. I gently rubbed the both sides of temples, slowly easing  the pain out.

Cecilia:"Here...lay down" she motion me to lay down.

I crawled inside the covers & snuggled against my big, fluffy pillow. I felt a weight lift off at the edge of my bed. I curiously look up & saw Cecelia walking towards the door. 

(Y/N):"Wait!" she froze

(Y/N):"Can you lay with me? At least until I fall asleep?" I said hopeful

She turned around & sweetly smiled at me. 

Cecilia:"Of course:" she plopped down on my bed.

The sweet smell of jasmine lingers in the air, soothing me. I closed my eyes, as her delicate hand runs through my hair, sending me off to sleep.

I wished she was my mother.

Ok so first I'm sorry for not updating! I've been so busy, like studying quizzes, finishing my hw and all that boring stuff. But the good thing I'm going to be on winter break!!!!, starting tm. & 2nd I've been dropping lots of hints in this story, if you notice. Because your going to be surprised towards these upcoming chapters. SO PAY ATTENTION CHILDREN!! ((:
