"Are you prepared, Sayoki? You know this means facing Farsdale alone, just the two of us."

Aubrey did not seem as confident as he usually is. He would usually have his intelligence to have faith in, but there were few calculations to make ahead of us. I think it would be safe to say that Aubrey was actually scared of what's ahead.

"I'm ready." I said, trying to smile.

"This is for Cody."

Aubrey nodded, hand on the doorknob.

"I don't hear anyone, do we sneak down, or sprint?" I asked.

"They probably know we're here, we should run."

This time I nodded.

Aubrey threw open the door, and we both ran as fast as we could down the empty, almost lifeless halls.

Halfway down the hall, there was in fact another staircase. It was still open, but two doctors guarded the way. We didn't give them much chance to shoot, we sprinted past them, and down the stairs as fast as we could.

Two flights down, two more guards, and we were in hallways I remember.

Aubrey did not stop running. I stopped as soon as I saw the familiar silver hair. Aubrey ran head first into him, ramming the doctor off his feet.

"Aubrey!" Cody shouted. I ran over to have a better look at what was going on.

Aubrey remained on top of Farsdale, his hands tightening around his neck. He was furious, his left eye was twitching.

"Die... Die... Die...DIE!!!" Aubrey whimpered, but escalated into shouting.

Don gasped for air, but even in Aubrey's wrath he smiled calmly.

"Like father..." He choked a little.

"...Like son... Mur...de.."

"Shut up! Shut up!" Aubrey screamed.

"You don't compare me to him! Don't tell me how much I'm like him! I hate him!"

He growled.

"And you... I hate you too..."

His grip greatly increased. Farsdale was no longer smiling. He was gagging and choking, actually fighting for his life, his syringe and scalpels clattering to the ground around him.

"Aubrey!" Cody shouted, again.

"Aubrey, I hate him too, but,"

Aubrey grip tightened.

Cody glared.

"Aubrey are you even listening to me?! Do you want to be like Charles? You're acting just like him!"

I moved closer to the struggle, picking out the largest scalpel.

Farsdale's eyes widened, I stared back at him.

"You hurt Charles and Aubrey, and their pain hurt Cody. But you're the only one who deserved pain."

"A...Aki...na.."

"Meanie pants."

I smiled, then shoved the scalpel into a small, exposed area of his neck. I gritted my teeth, and shoved it in deeper and deeper, pushing even the metal handle in.

Aubrey pulled his hands out of the bleeding mess. He, and Cody, stared at me.

My shirt was soaked in the doctor's blood. It oozed out of his neck. He lay still, eyes closed.

Could he... really be..?

Aubrey frowned.

"I expected a fight." He said, darkly. Cody looked between us.

"You... Killed him..." He said, slowly.

"Just like..."

Aubrey took Cody's hand.

"Now isn't the time, Cody. I promised I'd get you out of here."

Cody nodded, and turned to me. He looked disappointed by the large amount of blood on my clothes. I averted my eyes from his gaze, feeling guilt I never wanted to feel.

Cody sighed.

"I guess this was easier than a negotiation. Dr. Farsdale might not have even hesitated to do the same to you."

I nodded.

"Let's get out of here, Cody."
