Jesse and I sat in the upstairs part of Jake's club, counting the money we have just gotten. Since the club was empty, it was the perfect time and place to do it.
"Have you found any marked yet?" Jesse asked me and I nodded my head.
"Yeah, just a few though." I said, not looking up at him. I glanced up at him and seen that he was looking around. All of the other guys were downstairs, so it was just Jesse and I counting and checking for marks.
"What are you doing?" I asked as he took the stack from my hand and put it down on the table. He smirked and crawled on top of me, making me lay on the couch.
"Jesse" I giggled, as he pecked my lips and kissed my face. "We have...w-work to.. Mmmm" I stopped talking, as he kissed on my neck. I wrapped my arms around his neck, closing my eyes, as he slid his hands up my shirt.
Jesse and I have been together for four years, and were very much in love. We have been inseparable since the crazy night that we met at this very club. We were both spontaneous, and he knew that I was down for any and everything, and that's why he wanted to be with me. When he was brought onto the team two years ago, him and my brother thought that it would be a good idea if I joined too.
"Really?" Jesse and I both jumped, and he got up off me. We looked towards the stairs and seen Jake, Jesse's older brother, shaking his head. "You two are suppose to be working right now. You guys can play later." Jesse and I looked at each other, trying not to laugh, as Jake walked to the table, pouring himself a drink.
Jake, being his older brother, Jesse looked up to him, and always wanted to be just like him. When he turned twenty, he finally let him in, bringing me right with him.
"We've got some serious stacks here man." Jesse said happily, making me smile.
"Yeah, we did alright." Jake said, shrugging his shoulders.
"Alright my ass." Jesse stopped counting and looked up at his brother, who had his back facing us. "This is our biggest heist yet, and you don't seem too happy about it."
"Nah, I'm good, I'm good." He said in a weird voice, making me raise my eyebrow. "Listen, Dad called last night." Jesse kind of froze and I took a deep breath.
"I'm gonna go down and help Lilli with the bar." I said, standing up. I put my hand on Jesse's shoulder, briefly, before walking towards the stairs, and down them. I walked towards the bar and seen Lilli, doing some paperwork at the bar.
Lilli was Jake's beautiful girlfriend, and part owner of this club. She was well aware of what we all did, she just wasn't involved in it. We were very close, due to the fact that she was the only other girl around and I loved her. She was a really sweet girl and was a good friend.
"What's all of this?" I said looking at the papers that were laid out.
"All of the ratings and profits of the club. We're doing really good. I'm hoping that we can get the empty space next door, so we can expand." She said smiling at me, and I sat down. Lilli was really into this business stuff, and she was extremely smart with numbers.
"That would be so dope, you guys would be making so much more money." I said, rubbing my very empty stomach in hunger. "Do you have anything to eat behind the counter?"
