Melanie Waters.
Since we were coming up close on our job, Jesse finally allowed me to be in the tunnel, to set up how I was going to change traffic lights on the street we were going to hold up the armored truck. He claimed he didn't me around all of the construction and stuff, but John and Gordon convinced him that I would be fine and the only way this was going to work was if I was there to actually set this up myself, instead of telling someone else how to do it.
"Alright, we're good." I said, not looking at from the laptop computer. With this thing, I had control of every traffic light in the area, but I only needed to control one.
"Mel's all set up, you ready?" Jesse said to Gordon, through a phone.
"Alright, Jessie. We're up." I heard him say through the speaker of the phone. "Show it to us."
I nodded my head and with simple click of a button, I made sure both traffic lights at the intersection were green and saw from the street camera the cars swerving to avoid hitting each other, and I smirked looking back at Jesse.
"Nice, babe." Jesse said, looking over my shoulder.
"Alright, Mel. Turn it off." Gordon chuckled. "Good job, guys."
"Alright, guys let's wrap it up for the day. Come back early in the morning, to finish putting this thing together." Jake said, I started closed the computer and put it into my purse.
"Mel, Gordon wants us to meet with him later today to show him what's done so far." AJ said and I nodded my head, pulling a water bottle from out of my purse.
"Just call me when you're on your way over there and I'll meet you." I said and he gave me a thumbs up and started to clean up. I took a sip of my water and Jesse took it from me and he took a big gulp from it and gave it back.
"Thirsty ass." I said, shaking my head and he laughed.
"I gotta finish cleaning up here. I'll meet you at the house." He said, holding my hand and intertwining our fingers.
"I'm actually to have some girl time with Lilly, and then after that I have to meet AJ at Gordon's house, but I'm all yours after that." I said, as his thumb rubbing my hand.
"Alright, well I want to take you out to dinner after that then. We haven't gone on a date in a minute."
"Sounds good to me." I smiled, as he pulled me closer and kissing me and I kissed back. "I love you."
"I love you too." I smiled and walked away after he smacked my booty. Once I finally made my way out of the tunnel, which took what felt like forever, I drove to the spa that Lilly and I agreed to meet at. I checked my phone before getting out of the car, seeing that she was already here. I got out and walked inside and seen her sitting in the waiting area, waiting for me.
"Hey Boo." I said, getting her attention and she she looked up and smiled when she saw me.
"Hey." She said, standing up and we hugged each other. "They said that they were ready for us, but I didn't want to start without you."
"Thanks. Sorry for being late, I got caught up with work." I said and she nodded her head and we started walking towards the back. Lilly and I were regulars here, so we already knew where to go and what to do. Every three weeks, for the past three years we came here to spend some time together since we were the only girl friends each other had.
