The boys and I were at the club, as usual, in our top section, while everyone on the bottom floor of the club was drinking and dancing. I was sitting on the arm of the couch, while Jesse sitting on the couch, resting his arm on my lap.
John was telling us about how some guy name Ghost showed up at his house. Apparently, Ghost and Gordon started the crew way, way back, eventually bringing in John, Jake, and AJ. They were doing job back in 2004 and Ghost got caught up and took the fall. They had the same agreement we had now; there will be no contact and your share from the job will be sitting in an account until you got out.
"So, I walking into my house, and he's standing there drinking me whiskey," John said while pouring himself a drink. "I was going to shoot him in the back of the head."
"You should've." Jake mumbled, before taking a sip of his drink.
"I don't get it. This 'Ghost' guy had been out for what, twenty-four hours and he already wants to do a job?" I said, shaking my head. "I don't trust it."
"I am with you Mel'" Jake said, pointing at me. "Besides we always wait at least a year between each job."
"G, you guys go way back, right?" Jesse asked Gordon. "You think he's being straight up?"
Gordon took a deep breath, before answering. "Ghost could have ratted us out a long time ago, but he didn't."
"And what's stopped him from doing that, after you guys give him his cut from '04?" I ask, and AJ nodded his head.
"Yeah, that's a problem." AJ said, shaking his head.
"I don't trust him." Jake said, shaking his head. I agreed with Jake. It was completely sketchy that this dude gets out of jail and immediately wants to do a job. I would've gotten my cut and kept it lowkey for a while, until I was off probation.
Plus, I wasn't rushing to do another job, since I have this pregnancy thing going on.
"I think he's onto something. He says it's big." Jesse said to Jake, as he stood up.
"Do I look like I care what he says?" Jake said to Jesse and Jesse sighed.
"Well look, whatever you do, you already know I'm down." He said, sapping his older brother up.
"I'm gonna go head home. You coming babe?" I shook my head.
"No, I'm gonna chill here." I said, and he wrapping his arms around me and gently kissed my lips. I smiled kissing back.
"Alright. I'll let you know when I make it home. I love you."
"I love you too." I said and he walked away. As he walked down the stairs, Lilli walked up, with a bottle in her hand.
Everyone conversed a little bit, while I took a sip from my mom-alcoholic drink. "Hey, Lilly. Can you bring me another drink whenever you come back up?" I asked and she nodded her head.
"Yeah, I'll be back up in a bit." She kissed Jake's cheek and turned around to walked down the stairs, but I seen a light skin man walk towards her. "Ghost."
