(AJ'S POV)
I ran down the steps and out the school's front door, running down to the train tracks.
I wasn't gonna tell Ashley.
I loaded myself onto the train, Diesel under my arm and Emily was, in fact, waiting for me.
"Glad you could make it." she said, looking at her nails.
I nodded stonily, "You too."
She looked up, pushing herself off of the wall and looking me in the eye, "Make it okay?"
I nodded again.
She smiled, a smile that sent multiple shivers down my spine. It had an underlying current of evil and manipulation below. I didn't like it one bit.
"Where are we going, Emily?"
"Straight to the point, are we now?" she chuckled darkly, "Just sit down, darling."
I glared at her, but I knew I had no choice. Lowering myself into the chair I kept her eyes locked onto mine. "Now tell me. Where are we going?"
"Oh, I dunno. Somewhere very far, far away."

(Ashley's POV)
I had been looking for AJ for hours now. She wasn't at anyone's house that we knew, she wasn't at home, she wasn't anywhere! I had called her phone and only gotten the busy signal.
It was like she had disappeared off the face of the earth.
I came to a stop by the park, utterly defeated. I had been around in circles it seemed, and looked everywhere I could. She wasn't anywhere. She was gone. She was... just gone.
I walked through the park, kicking leaves to and fro. Why would she choose to do this? Why wouldn't she tell me where she went? She always told me everything. Every. Single. Thing! Why would she keep this from me? Why would she keep her location away?
I felt completely confused and overwhelmed with worry. I couldn't contact her and I couldn't find her.
Maybe she had arrived back home?
I trudged back home, hoping against hope itself that she would be back.
I was soon running, up to our two story house (we'd outgrown the apartment long ago) and inside. I slammed the door shut and yelled aloud, "AJ?!"
No answer.
"Come on AJ! THIS ISN'T FUNNY!!!"
I wasn't getting any answers. I was hyperventilating. I looked at the microwave clock; 11:30pm. Diesel must have to pee.
"Diesel? DIESEL!!" I yell. Diesel wasn't here either!
I ran through the house, screaming both of there names. No. No... No... NO! Where were they? Where the fuck were they?!
Exhausted, I flopped on the couch. "AJ..." I whispered.
She had promised me a long time ago she'd never leave me.
That's just one more promise someone forgot to keep.
