Sarah's POV

A party. He seriously had to be at a party. I came to a halt as I admired the beautiful hotel in front of my eyes. Looking down to my attire I couldn't help but feel a little self conscious. Everyone around seemed to be dressed in beautiful gowns while I stood in my plain white shirt and pencil skirt.

Pushing those thoughts aside, I held on to the documents and entered the huge hall where guests were talking. Before I could look ask for Mr.William; I was stopped by a man.

"May I know your name miss?" he politely asked holding a writing pad that had names of guest on it.

"Um.. I might not be on the list but I have to hand this over to someone and its really urgent."

"Sorry mam, I cant let you enter unless you are on the list."

"It will only take a minute. Less than a minute perhaps."

"Sorry, but I have strict orders"

Before I could say something, someone cut me off.

"She is with me." A man. Scratch that. A very, sexy, hot, godly, erotic man said. He had deep blue eyes and blond hairs. He was dressed in dark blue suit and looked droolworthy. I couldn't help but stare with my mouth open.

"Sorry, Mr. Miller. We didn't know" The guard said in utter shock. I cant blame him though, I was shocked too. Before I could further inquire about the situation, I was pulled in by the sexy man.

"I am really sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. Parties like these tend to have a strict security."

"No. Its not a p-problem.Thanks for he-elping me back there." I said nervously. Why was I stuttering? Keep it cool Sarah.

"So, are you looking for someone?"he said.

"yeah..um.. actually, I had to give these documents to Mr. William."

"Do you work for him? I haven't seen you in any of his parties before."

"No. I don't work for him. I work for Mr. Anderson and he has signed a contract with him and Mr. William has said that if he doesn't get these he won't sign anymore contracts with Anderson corporations. And I will get fired." I rambled stressfully.

"Oh. I see. Don't worry, Ethan can be a little hot headed sometimes. I am Zach Miller by the way." He extended his hands towards me.

"Nice to meet you. Mr. Miller, I am Sarah." I shook his hand.

"Call me Zach. You can find Ethan near the drinks section. I would have taken you there, but I have a annoying dad who likes to entertain me by telling about new business strategies. Even at parties." He smiled.

"Yeah sure. Thanks for the help Mr. Mi- I mean Zach."  I chuckled.

As soon as I approached the drinks area I realized something. I didn't know what Mr. William looked like. All I knew was that he looked really hot all because of Alice who wouldn't shut up about it. I sat down on a bar stool and looked around.

That's when I heard someone saying.

"It's very nice to meet you again. I missed you so much. Maybe we can go have dinner or something for old times sake."

I turned around to find a blonde sitting on the bar stool, talking to a man. I couldn't see the man. His face was hidden from me.

I could see the woman however. And she was trying really hard to seduce him. That's when I heard the man speak.

"You already know Chloe. I don't do dating. Just casual flings. And I don't really feel like I am even attracted to you now."

Woah. Such a dickhead. He is so rude. I feel sorry for that girl. She should slap him probably. I got up and was about to leave when she replied.

"I hate you Ethan."

Ethan. Mr. William. Dickhead.

I turned arount to see the blonde woman leave. And that's when I saw the devil himself. Only thing was that he looked like a god. A greek god. But anyways, a rude and annoying greek god.

I towards him holding the documents in my hands. He was leaving with a drink in his hands.

"Mr William!" I called out.

He turned back to face me. It all happened too fast and the next thing I know I have collided with him and spilled the drink all over him and myself in the process. Oh god.

"Jeez..what the..?" he said clearly annoyed.

"Sorry,Sorry.. I am really sorry sir." I said anxiously.

When my apology seemed to be registered in my brain he looked up to my face. And straight into my eyes. His eyes were a dark shade of brown. They stared deep into my eyes. But then they traveled down to my shirt, then my skirt, then my legs then came back to my face following the same path.

I know what he was doing. He was judging me. I knew I didn't dress for a party. I didn't need to be reminded of it. I was really pissed of now.

"I just wanted to give you these documents." I spoke. I was making no attempt whatsoever to hide the slight annoyance in my tone.

"Do I know you?" he asked raising his eyebrow.

"I am Sarah Blair, Mr. Anderson's personal assistant. I wanted to give you the copy of the contract." I said with the same annoyed tone as before handing him the papers.

I was about to leave but he suddenly held onto my wrist. I turned around and he let go of my wrist quicker than he held it.

"What now? I am sorry Mr. William but I have to leave now. I have given you an extra copy of the document too, if in case you lose it a second time." I say in a hurry. This man clearly doesn't know what pains I had to go through in order to get him the documents.

"I had told if I didn't receive the papers within an hour's time, I wouldn't sign anymore contracts. Its been an hour and a half since I said that."

I widened my eyes in shock. That bastard. If he does that; it would surely lead to a big loss for our company. I have to keep my cool.

I closed my eyes, took a calm breath and opened them again.

"Look, Mr. William, I don't think it was my fault that you didn't receive these yesterday. I had given it to your secretary, and she ensured me that she would make sure that these reach you. I am really sorry to inform you that its your own secretary at fault here." I say, trying to sound less annoyed by faking a smile.

"She wasn't my secretary then. I fired her just yesterday. When you met her, she didn't work for me anymore. So you handed those papers to a nobody. It was your fault. You didn't ask her if she still was my personal assistant." he smirked.

That's it. He was enjoying all this? I bet he just tries to irritate people as a hobby. I lost all cool.

"She was in your office! She should have said something about being fired. How was it my fault?"

"Okay. I get it. Its not your fault that you are incompetent when it comes to the job of a personal assistant."

"How dare you say that. I am the best personal assistant anyone could ever have. And I do my job with utmost dedication. Its sad how easily you can blame others when its all your fault."

With that I rushed out of the hotel without giving him a second glance. I don't care if I get fired tomorrow. I cant stand even seeing his face again.
