To be human is to be beautifully flawed.

Sarah's POV
"I had expected Zach to be so insolent, yet here he is poles apart from Mr. William. It's hard to believe that they are related." I explained Alice who was currently on the phone.
"They both are hot so, definitely related." Alice chuckled.
"Alice! Don't be so naïve. The devil wears a disguise." I exclaim but I can't help but laugh at the truth. I had to agree that the devil is good looking but I wouldn't want to think about it a lot. I mean ever since the day at his house, I had been thinking about it. He certainly looked good in a towel. But he isn't good at all. So much like the cookies which shatter your dreams when you take a bite of it expecting to taste the chocolate chips, but it turns out to be raisins.
"Hello?" Alice brings me out of my strange thoughts.
"Yeah?" I ask, completely oblivious to what Alice had said in that past few minutes.
"I asked what are you doing now?" Alice asserted.
"I..am currently typing an email to Mr. Jean-Claude Niel, our company's partner from France. And apart from being exceedingly rich, he is also 'a lover of art' as he likes to call. So, email is an acceptance of an invitation for the art gala next week." I reply.
"Wow! So, it is done. I am taking you dress shopping tomorrow." Alice announced in glee.
"Not possible. My main concern right now is finding Mr. Neil an original painting of the artist Andrei Bednarczyk as a gift. And finding this artist's painting, believe it on not, is harder than pronouncing his last name." I answer with a sigh.
"What? Whose dumb idea was that? Gift him a something normal. Like normal people do."
"OK. First of all. Calm down. Secondly, like all the other problems in my life, all the credit for deciding about the gift goes to that idiotic douche monster. Ever since all those awkward incidents yesterday that I would gladly forget, he has been really hot-headed. Like more than his normal amount of aggression, now he is like the devil on a period. I mean I get it that he has to train Zach and all, but he is not just harsh on me, but also on Zach." I grumble.
"Growing feelings, are we?" Alice says and I can clearly imagine the smirk on her face as she says that.
"No. He is nice, but I don't think.."
"Oh. Shut up. I know you, Sarah. I bet you can't say Zach is hot without blushing."
"That's absurd." I scoff.
"Is not" she retorts.
"Zach is hot. Zach is hot. Zach is hot. Zach is hot. Zach is hot." I enunciated with a victory smile.
And the smile fades away as I hear someone coughing. Looking away from my laptop screen, I see Zach standing in front of me.
If there was ever a Guinness world record for having the worst luck, I would have that.
"Ye-ah, Uh..I mean ever since I saw High School Musical, Zac Efron is like my all-time favorite. OK, Bye! I gotta work. " I end the call mentally facepalming myself.
"Sorry, I didn't knock, I had to ask you something urgent". Zach says with a charming smile.
"Oh. It's absolutely fine. I was just on phone with my friend. She is like...um...writing a fanfic on wattpad about Zac Efron. Yeah..she is a...wierdo. Ha!" I try to hide my nervousness with an embarrassing fake laugh.
Zach seems as confused as a chameleon in a bag of skittles.
"So...You had something urgent to discuss?" I say faking a smile trying to break the awkward silence.
"Yeah. It's just that Ethan has given me the responsibility of meeting a few buyers tomorrow, to discuss some potential business deals. But I can't really schedule 7 meetings in one day. I was hoping you could help." He spoke.
"Oh. Luckily, I am good at that." I chuckle.
"Well, the first thing you have to do is take into consideration the client's comfort. It is important to understand that he too has a say as it's a matter of future concern. You can send me the email ids of the clients and I will send them the meeting timings as well as text you the same." I explain.
"Thanks. Well, it's getting late. Are you done with your work." Zach asked.
"Yes. I was just about to leave." I reply with a smile closing my laptop and picking up my bag.
"Can you show me around the city? Ethan's got me all stressed with his business lingo." He laughs making me laugh too.
"Yes. I know a restaurant nearby which serves great food."
