Chapter 34

The Practice Match

Ryuki Pov:

           We arrived at the camp with hyotei.

"But that's the end of our training regime." I heard eiji said.

"Im afraid not." I said. They look at me in surprise.

"We'll be having our practice match against Hyotei." I announced.

Oishi wrote hyoteis name on the chopstick then everyone pick their opponents. Hyotei will be the one who will serve.

"One set match, Kabaji to serve !"

"Hyotei's Hiyoshi to serve !"

Third Person Pov:

The match started. The first two match is Kikumaru vs. Kabaji on court C and Inui vs. Hiyoshi on court A.

"I don't care if you're kaba or frankenstein. I won't lost on you." Eiji said to kabaji. But the latter just look at him. Eiji sigh in defeat.

"I really pick the wrong opponent." He said sighing before going to his position.

The first match left eiji in awe. Kabaji won his service game because of his powerful hit. Everyone thought that it would be change when its eiji's service play. But kabaji just returned eiji's shot, snapping out his racket on his hand. Eiji looks annoyed. On his second serve he run to the net. Which made taka-san to get worried. Then, eiji hit back kabaji's shot and won his service game.

"Game kikumaru 1 all." Everyone looks shock.

"Eiji used a higher grip on his racquet to reduce the impact then used shots just abouve the net to confius his opponents." Ryuki muttered beside the female journalist, shiba.

Seigaku were used to her extreme knowledge about tennis. But its the first time for hyotei to hear her that way. They all gape at her. But she didn't give anything away. The match continued. As expected, kabaji learned to copy eiji's move leaving the latter at a disadvantage. Eiji snap in annoyance. He returned two shots back in just one jump. The camps result is starting to show. Kabaji seems can't copy it plus his legs ended up with cramp making eiji a winner.

"Game set and won by, kikumaru ! 6-1."

On the other side of the court, inui and hiyoshi seems on a tough rally.

"A drive-like shot low and to the right.. About 20 degrees." Inui muttered. He really can't help to blurt out his data. Hiyoshi looks annoyed by him.

"A probability of a straight, 95%" inui muttered again.

The match ended as 6-6.

The next match is between Fuji vs. Yuushi on court A. Then Shishido vs. Oishi on court C. Then momo talk to fuji.

"Fuji-senpai, I know it's inappropriate to say this before the match..." Momo started.

"What is it momo ?" Fuji asked.
