Chapter 36

Rikkai Dai Fuzoku

Ryuki Pov:

           Everyone seems riled up today. We all gathered earlier than usual. Even ryoma is too early. Today is our most awaiting match against the undefeated champion, Rikkaidai. Even without seichii, I can sense that rikkaidai is not a team to be taken lightly just because of their missing captain. I would say that it would be a fair match up for the both team because of both missing captains but I know that rikkai is one step ahead on us.

           "Minna, no matter what happened today, Lets all fight without regrets and champion the kantou tournament." I said. Everyone nodded smiling. Then oishi speak.

           "Lets all made our way to nationals !" Oishi said then we all positioned in circle. We all put our right hand one after another then oishi shouted.

           "Seigakuuu ?!"

           "Fight !!!" We all shouted back.

           I can feel the tension building up as the time passed by. When the match was about to start, I gathered up everyone inside the court. Then both subtitute captains were called in the middle. Oishi seems flustered and nervous. Rikkais were getting on him. But it dissapeared when oishi took back his sentence and announce that seigaku will be the one to go to the nationals which agreed by us.

           "For doubles two, Momo and Kaidoh pair !" I announce.

           The two looks at both jackal and marui wierdly. Just then, inui speak.

           "Marui Bunta, the volley specialist. Jackal Kuwahara, the defense specialist. Marui always eat a piece of cake while jackal shave his head before the match. Its their some sort of ritual to throw away bad luck." Inui said. Then everyone look at me.

           I look at them wierdly. "What ?" I asked. "I don't have anything to say beside what inui could." I said. I wanted to be pair because Rikkais were my friend also.

           "Bad luck, eh ?" Momo muttered.

           The match started. Momo and kaidoh looks annoyed and insulted to both marui and jackal. Momo told the two to remove their weights but marui challenge them back to make them. The match continued, leaving everyone in awe. I already know that rikkaidai is stronger than any other team in this tournament but I did not expect it to be like this, one sided match. Momo and kaidoh were struggling to get a point. But they didn't stop until both doubles decided to remove their weights. Yet unfortunately, momo and kaidoh lose their match. But the best part is, they both gave their best and enjoyed their match.

            "Doubles 1 seigaku, Kikumaru and Oishi pair. VS rikkaidai fuzoku, Nioū and Yagyuu pair. The best of one set match, begin !" The ref. announced.

           Everyone on seigaku cheered for the golden pair. The first game runs smoothly. But not until a certain trickster found a very useful info about eiji.

           "Its pretty amazing to watch that habbit of yours." Niou remarked at eiji. Smiling sheepishly.

           Everyone is shock on seigaku's side. I sigh.

           'I knew this day would come.' I thought. Oishi looks at eiji with a confius face.

           "What is he talking about ? Habbit of eiji-senpai ?" Momo asked.

           The match continued, with eiji whom starting to get off and irritated at the trickster of rikkaidai. Inui adjusted his glasses then speak.
