Aftermath

Y/N's POV

RUN. RUN. RUN. RUN RUN. OH MY IRENE.

Gene's POV

The ashes are filling my eyes, making them drip water. Sasha is under my arm, her eyes closed, but she's not asleep. She's coughing and I try and lead her out of the house. We were just watching TV when it happened...

"Gene?"
"Yeah?"
"Have you ever thought about... I don't know... having a girlfriend...?" Sasha had asked me. My throat had tightened and my lips dried quickly. I squeezed the remote for the TV.
"I-I guess I---" but I stopped talking when everything started to shake. And then, a hole was blown into the side of my wall, barely missing us.
"WHAT THE HELL?!" I screamed. Sasha had screamed too, but she seemed more afraid than angry. Then the blow hit us both and we flew off the couch, smoke getting in our eyes and panic filling out bodies. We just laid on the ground for a while, not moving; afraid another blow would hit us. I had felt Sasha wrap her arms around my neck, slightly choking me, but I didn't mind. I figured we could escape when the smoke cleared.

Katelyn's POV

"TRAVIS?! TRAVIS WAKE UP!!!" He wasn't moving, just breathing in and out softly. I wanted to just scream and cry on the ground. HE LOOKS DEAD!!! My heart has never beaten this fast in my life and my knee is bleeding out fast. But Travis saved my life just then. I owe him one...

"Travis, stop," I complained, standing up from the kitchen table and walking into the living room. Travis followed me, grabbing my shoulders and forcing me to turn around.
"I'm sorry," Travis apologized, "but you really are that beautiful."
"Yeah, yeah. Haven't I told you enough about myself to know that I don't take compliments as well as you do?"
"I know..."
"Good." I turned away from him, but suddenly the wall broke and I got the wind knocked out of me. I fell to the ground, screaming and trying to get my breath back.
"KATELYN!!!" Travis shouted and I noticed the TV in my living room slowly tipping over and about to fall right on my back. I curled into a ball and waited for the impact, not having enough time to react properly, when I heard broken glass and felt myself being pushed to the side. Looking up, I saw Travis, his body under the TV and eyes closed, the glass cutting him in multiple places. His white hair was turning red. I looked down at my own body and see I scraped my knee hard when I fell, so it was bleeding. But that didn't matter. I just couldn't believe white could turn red so fast.

His hair is still tinted red, gooey from where the glass cut him in the head. There is a little cut on his cheek as well and I dab the blood off with my shirt. Then I kiss his bloody cheek.

Garroth's POV

What happened? I just woke up. Wait, WHERE DID THE WALLS GO?!?!

Cadenza's POV

I got the call from Laurence while I was tending to my garden. When it rang, I dropped it in the dirt out of surprise, but I saw it was my brother and didn't even bother cleaning it before answering...

"Laurence?!"
"C-Cadenza..." His voice was crackling and I could hear a loud thumping that made my ear throb.
"What's going on?!" I had figured it was an emergency. Laurence never calls, just texts me paragraphs of updates and an occasional 'hello'.
"N-no time to e-explain..." he answered, breathing heavily after every word. He must be running. "I just want y-you to know I'm o-okay..."
"WHY WOULDN'T YOU BE?!" I shouted into the phone. But my phone just beeped in response. He hung up.

Aaron's POV

We were in front of my house, Aphmau and I. She had said she wanted to give Travis and Katelyn some space and was going to get some coffee and treat herself. Maybe it was my nervousness to talk to her and ask if I could come with that shook the ground, but it wasn't. Aphmau's eyes sparked with worry and her smile disappeared. Everything around us started to crumble and blow to bits.

She's under a tree with me, Kawaii~Chanm Lucinda, and Zane. We're huddled close, not knowing if this is some sick joke or a nightmare that has no windows or golden arched door to escape.

Kawaii~Chan's POV

Before the disaster, Kawaii~Chan had been at Lucinda~Sama's house making and testing potions. Kawaii~Chan has always been interested in Lucinda~Sama's witchcraft and wizardry. But everything turned upside down and now Kawaii~Chan is really close to Zane~Kun. Kawaii~Chan can smell his shampoo and deodorant; we're that close. Lucinda~Sama is staring at Kawaii~Chan, giving a pushing look and Kawaii~Chan does it. Kawaii~Chan takes Zane~Kun's hand and Zane~Kun looks at Kawaii~Chan, lowers his mask, and smiles.

Everything is going to be okay.
