Y/N's POV

"EVERYONE!" Garroth shouts, storming into the indoor pool area. He had left a few minutes prior to answer a call, but the rest of us continued swimming and relaxing in the hot tub. I had decided to get out of the pool with Zenix and now we're sitting on a beach chair, sharing the same towel as his arms are around my waist. Zenix must feel me tense up when Garroth yells because he relaxes his grip around me.
"Can you be any louder?" Zane snaps sarcastically at his brother, rubbing his towel on his own head to dry his hair.
"What is it?" Travis asks, ignoring Zane. Garroth is waving his arms and smiling when he replies,
"Mommy just called! She said that she can hook us up with a neighborhood that has a completely empty street! We could all live there!"
"Oh my Irene, what?!" Lucinda stands up in the hot tub to look at Garroth.
"Did Garroth~Kun just say what Kawaii~Chan thought he said?!" Kawaii~Chan exclaims, standing up next to Lucinda. Garroth nods his head up and down rapidly,
"You heard me right!"
"Oh dang..." Gene pushes back his wet, black hair, showing a surprised expression. Sasha, who is standing in the main pool next to her boyfriend, wraps herself around Gene's arm.
"This is amazing!" she smiles at Garroth, looking hopeful.
"We'd 'ought to pack our stuff then!" Dante climbs out of the pool, Travis right behind him. I feel Zenix put the entire towel over my shoulders and I watch him stand up from the chair. He puts out his hand and I take it, smiling as he helps me up.
"Yo, Y/N!" I hear Sasha call out to me. When I turn to face her, she yells, "Let's get packing!" I nod in acknowledgment at Sasha before pecking Zenix on the lips.
"Meet you in the lobby!" I say to him.
"Alright, babe, see you in a bit," he replies, adjusting the towel so it stays better around my wet shoulders. I blush before I walk with Sasha back up to the room. When we arrive, Sasha inserts the key card, unlocking the door and pushing it open.
"Gene told me him and Zenix were going to check us out of the room while we pack up the stuff," Sasha tells me as she begins to stuff her clothes into her suitcase.
"Do we have any time to change out of our swimsuits?"
"I don't know," she slides a black tank top over her strapless, violet bikini and puts on a pair of gray sweatpants. "Just throw something on."
"Like what?!" I dig through my suitcase of clothes, not finding anything I can just slide on.
"Here," Sasha throws a red t-shirt and some jeans with a lot of rips. Putting the pants over my swimsuit, I ask,
"Who's shirt is this...?"
"Zenix's. The pants are mine."
"What?!" I panic, but the slide the shirt over my head anyway.
"You don't want to wear your babe's shirt?" I can tell Sasha is smirking when she said this and my ears grow hot.
"Shut up!" We continue packing our stuff, then we pack Gene and Zenix's stuff. It took me a while to finally realize how happy I truly am about this. We're all finally going to have a place we can all call home to stay in. The memories of the destruction of our old neighborhood is terrifying, but we all stuck together and now we're okay. As if she could read my mind, Sasha murmurs to me,
"Who do you think was the glue of the group?" When I give her a confused look, she adds, "As in who kept us together during the time we all fell apart?" I think for a while as I stare at Sasha. Things are always falling apart and changing in different directions. A stranger, my husband; the enemy, my best friend. Sasha can tell I'm in deep thought, so she blinks her big, purple eyes to get my attention. She pushes her wavy hair behind her ear before moving my hair out of my eyes.
"We're all the glue," I reply finally. "So we all stick together."
