<Kagi>
I've never noticed it before but when I did, I realized that a few people from the agency also attended this academy. Little did I know that two of them were in my home room. I never really cared to notice my surroundings especially when I came to school.Was it because I never cared about most of the students here? That is my fault though when I know that observational skills are important.
First there was Nana, a girl my height, short brown hair and she was one of those types of girls who was popular with the guys. Her sparkling aura blinded me as I took notice.
Then there was Seiichi, blond hair, purple eyes. Laid-back and found sleeping most of the time.
When I thought about it, I think Sarumi had talked to them before during training exams, though it was a long time ago.

What really was ironic was that the day I finally noticed them, was the day that one of them started getting on my nerves. Could you guess who? And why did they suddenly have to intervene in my life now?During Lunch, out on the rooftop with Sarumi, Nana randomly bursted through the doors and dragged him out. It was abrupt that the only thing I could make out from her words was that the captain of the soccer team needed to speak with him.
Again, when Sarumi and I were walking together in the halls to the cafe she appeared behind with a gleam, complementing my hair. I thought she was being nice but right after, she snagged Sarumi again.
I'm not mad. Why should I be mad? Then again, she has never talked to us before, so why is she so obsessed with him?

<Sarumi>
"Huh? Come again?"Nana was sitting besides me in the bench as she asked me about partnering up for a mission. She showed me the email as I my name was listed under the possible teams.
"Come on, it'll be fun. You and me."
"I can't if it's on that day, sorry. I have a mission with Kagi as well as the following week. I'm practically taken until next month." I explained.
"You've been spending so much time with her. Why can't you rotate? Staying with the same person gets mundane doesn't it?" Nana sighed.
"I don't think of it that way. I enjoy her company." I explained, "I've grown used to it so a new partner would feel a bit uncomfortable."
"Aren't you too attached to that girl? Is it because of that incident back then." Nana brought up.
I looked over with a defensive expression.
"Everyone knows about it and yet she's famous in the department. Both of you are. "Aren't your feelings as a guardian just getting in the way? In reality aren't you worried to leave her alone because she's still a child to you." Nana gazed into my eyes with much meaning.
I honestly didn't know how to reply. Was my constant reason for staying with Kagi for so long because of that incident? That can't be the case right? Then why do I feel so conflicted?
Nana waved her phone at me again, "one mission won't hurt. Besides, Kagi is the sharpest sniper amongst our grade. It's obvious that she can work solo sometimes."
"You do have a point." I agreed.
"How about it?" Nana came again.
"...I don't know."
If anything, Father and Mother always told me to stick to your promises because if you break them you'll end up breaking someone's trust in the process.
"Maybe next time when it permits." I rejected the offer. I stood from the seat and stretched out my arms. "I can't let her down."
"You're very devoted to her. Kinda creeps me out." Nana grabbed her bag. "I'm looking forward to it though."
"Well I can't help it." I shrugged."

When lunch ended, I went back to class by myself. For the first time in so long, the bento wasn't finished mainly because I usually make double for both of us.On the way, I saw Nana walking besides Sarumi down the halls. What caught me off guard was that she grabbed ahold of his arm and hugged it. Playfully teasing him, I felt a sharp needle pinch me. Why is she being so clingy to him?
Normally, Sarumi was a gentlemen and would say something when people touched him unfamiliarity. But why was this situation different? I scoffed with irritation, is it because she's an assassin too?

By the end of the day, they even walked out together. Together.I'm not mad. He can have friends besides me, it's natural. If he and I were always together, people would suspect things. I can handle this. However, I'll teach him a lesson later before we leave for our mission today.
When I made it to the MD, I made my way to the locker rooms in out department. Every small voice or noise, I thought it was Sarumi coming. But each time someone appeared, it wasn't him.
"Hmm? Aren't you supposed to be getting packed?" Aunt Irina spotted me as she walked out of the locker room and down the hall.
"Don't you have a mission today?" She scanned through her clipboard.
"I am packed." I pointed at the bag that I sat down on ground next to my leg."
"Aren't you leaving in 10 minutes? Where's Sarumi?" She glanced around, "still in the locker room?"
"That's what I'm wondering." I looked away, "He left school with another girl from the agency. Since then, I don't know where he is." I sighed.
"That's not like him..." Aunt took out her phone and I waited.
"Oh...that's what happened..." She looked back up with an apologetic look.
"What?" I pestered.
"He's gone with an A ranked, named Nana. They left an hour ago. Last minute arrangement and orders from the department head." She explained.
"Wait what?"
"Sorry kid..." She pouted as if she was doing it for my sake.
Speechless as I was, I didn't let it get to me. At least, I tried to let it not faze me.
"It's fine, I-I'll just go alone this time."
"Are you sure Kagi? We can assign-"
"I'll go alone." I grabbed my bag from the ground." I'll see you tonight."
Nothing at the moment could run through my mind clearly other than the harsh fact that Sarumi left without telling me. Especially going with that Nana girl instead. I really felt betrayed by him.

<Nagisa>
"Please tell me you've already hacked the system and we have the passcode?" I nudged Ritsu's arm."Yeah, yeah." Ritsu said still typing away with lightening speed on her keyboard as the screen of the laptop lit up. "It's asking for another code. Just wait a sec."
"What happened?" Itona asked.
"I-I got in!" She pranced in joy. "Okay, the doors unlocked. Second floor is our aim. We're blowing this place up." Ritsu giggled with excitement.
"Okay." Ritsu slightly opened the door. "I'll go first. Nagisa, you got this right?""Yeah. Just remember to set your timers." I warned. "Five minutes should be suffice, right?"
"Of course." Itona patted my shoulder.
"Quick and clean." Ritsu agreed.
I smiled and stared in.
"Well set this place in blaze."
