Damn...when was the last time I gotten into a predicament like this? Sheesh, I'm getting old. Maybe it's time for office work and retire from assassinations as heavy as this.

"H-hey, don't fall asleep on me now." Such a beautiful voice sucked me into oblivion and I wondered how such a woman could be so frightening.
"My, when I look at you...your eyes are marvelous. They seek bottomless hope." She grabbed my chin and kissed the side of my cheek.
"S-sorry, but I'm married." I coldly gazed at her. "I think you should try it out, love."

"Ha, ha! If only the other man would speak so confidently like you! I like you, a man with no fear!" She giggled.
"Of course, that man has so much to lose." I spoke, "just let those two go, keep me if you so much desire."

"You're even good at jokes! You crack me up, boy. I'm laughing at how heart wrenching it is! Until you guys split your tongues and give us the information we need. Then, things are just going to get more interesting."

For the most duration of the flight, that Yoru kids has been sleeping since and it seems as if Kagi was about to doze off any second now.
"You can lean on my shoulder." I insisted.
"Just...for a bit." She closed her eyes and her head sat on my shoulders.

"Has she always been so rebellious?" I asked Sarumi who was sitting to the seat next to Kagi's
"I think she takes after her parents." Sarumi teased, "she used to be so insecure about that side of hers. Ever since the near death incidents, she thinks she's unkillable."

"I was thinking about taking her out and make her start working for the company. Sound good?" I jokingly brought up.
"I feel like it would be safer for her. Don't get me wrong, but I don't think tying people down wont make them content." Sarumi sighed.

"I feel so left out." Yoru from besides me woke up and yawned, "you and your family businesses. Kinda annoys me if you get the gist of it. Family and all."
"Seeking affection huh? I heard about you. Living up tough, huh?" I patted his head lightly.

My expectations have seemed to baffled me, when Yoru had blushed from my sudden fatherly actions. In a sense, he was content and that made me feel like I was actually making an impact on him.

"Hmm, I've always wanted to ask, but why does a guy like you get yourself involved with these two?" I directed him. "Detective work? Inspiration? Bored-"
"Just killing time." Yoru laid his head back and turned facing me. "Besides, it'll be fun to roam around Spain like I did before."
"Just hopefully you don't lay a hand on my kids." I jokingly directed it back to the incident back in Spain.

Yoru's eyes were glazed and he smiled so threateningly, "as long as no one gets in my way or is a threat to anyone else, no harm will be taken." He explained, "needless to say, so many things can provoke a guy like me."

"So I've heard." I agreed. "But, I know what you did, you're not a bad guy."
"Oh quite..." Seiichi got embarrassed by my comment and forced himself back to sleep.

I think it's all time that we close our eyes and dream too.

These useless conferences, yet Tadaomi still insisted on dragging me out of the trio case and attending...
"Mrs. Karasuma, is something on your mind?" The director of the S.S and everyone's eyes laid upon my bosom, invested in my fine figure.

I stared at my watch and rose from my seat, "things have come up. If you'll excuse me-"
"Mrs. Karasuma, you have to-"

"Get approval by my husband if you have to." I slammed my hand on the table. "Don't mind me, I have to ground some kids into the dirt with coffins. Unless you want to join me, then by all means."
"W-we see that you're busy. Well reopen this discussion on a more proper date. Yes?" The director stood up and shook my hand.
"Thanks for understanding."  I stormed out of the conference meeting, surprisingly the door was still intact from my violent manner.

"Momma's gonna wreak havoc on those runts."

Instead of recording our names into any hotels, we went along with Seiichi who knew someone who would offer us hospitality.

The woman we met at the door was the caretaker of Seiichi when he was in Spain. We were even introduced to Seiichi's younger sister. I was staring in awe when I laid my eyes upon her, with her short black hair and purple eyes.

"Well, go on Ruka." Seiichi said, "introduce yourself."
Instead of bowing for formality, she shook our hands, "my name is Chiruka Yoru." She greeted us western style.

"Hm, your mother must of be Japanese, correct?" Dad asked. "Your father must be American."
"Yes, that's right." Chiruka nodded her head. "You must of found out from our names."

"Of course. It's only natural when your mother was so deep in her roots, as I met the fine woman herself." He explained.
"Too deep, if I could say. For the meaning of our names explains us so much." She added.

"Ah, indeed. If you don't mind, I would like to pay my respects." He spoke out of context.
"Why, if you would." The caretaker surprisingly got happy and led my dad into the back of the house and Chiruka followed.

The rest of us blankly stared at Seiichi wondering if he noticed how confused Sarumi and I was.
"If you haven't noticed, my mom died from an illness 2 years ago. She was brought back here for her burial." Seiichi spoke.
"Why here?" Sarumi asked.
"That Caretaker of ours was a good friend of our mother and my mom met my dad here in Spain. That caretaker Is also the mother of that dead partner of mine."

I swallowed back the sudden news and glanced over at Sarumi. Even the added information sent chills down our spine.

"H-how old is your sister?" I asked.
"15, not too young." He replied. "I wish she wasn't bound here." He signed, "I want her to lead in a world without fighting."

I patted Seiichi's arm, "you'll make it happen. She'll live peacefully one day." I assured.
"And every time, you amaze me Kagi. Falling for that empty skull of yours." He poked my forehead. "Who knew you could be cute too-"
"Don't touch her." Sarumi slapped his hand away.

Huh? What just happened?
"Stingy as usual." Seiichi scratched his head.
"Oi Ruka, Miss, when's dinner?" Seiichi shouted.
"15 minutes from now." Chiruka's head popped out of the corner.

Then her eyes glued onto mine and it was silent for awhile. It was like her eyes were telling me to notice her. They were screaming at me.
